You are viewing a PAIR(2) ANTIQUE BLUE GLASS BRISTOL HAND PAINTED VASES with RUFFLED RIMS which are HAND BLOWN and measure 7 1/2" tall. They are in very good vintage condition. NO CRACKS. There is VERY SLIGHT PAINT LOSS ON GOLD TRIM LINES, but the paint on the flowers is excellent. There is a paint streak on the ruffle of one of the vases as seen in the photos but it is not a crack. It is a streak of brown paint either in the blue glass or on top of the blue glass, probably on top. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Please view my other auctions and thanks for looking! Up for your consideration is a Pair( 2) of Antique Victorian Bristol Glass Vases. They are hand blown and hand painted and have the pontil scars. The flowers and leaves are enamel hand painted and they have gold gilt lines attaching the flowers. They are tall and measure 11 1/4" tall and the base is 4 1/4" in diameter. These incredible designed pair of vases are made in England.The enamel hand painted floral flowers are rust. Gold, green, gray, white and gold gilt. Lot Of 6 Possibly Victorian Era Hand Blown Glass Bud Vases
Here's a lot of six very nice little blown glass bud vases. May be Victorian but I am not sure. Each little vase measures about 4 1/4" long x 1 1/2" tall at the bud end that is propped up by two little"feet" Since each one is hand blown. The measurements will be a little different. I know the photos aren't that great- the vases are not as yellowed as the photos imply. Hard to photograph clear glass and my camera wants to keep changing the background color! Photo#4 is pretty accurate. All vases are in good condition with no chips. They need cleaned up a little- there is some residue on each one from old inventory stickers. Nice display item! This is a matched PAIR of 12 inch tall hand blown VICTORIAN Ruffled and Amber or Smoke Crested Glass Vases. These would look WONDERFUL flanking each side of a Fireplace Mantel. Each has been very REALISTICALLY hand painted with a large and lovely Apple Blossom Branch design in pink and white. The back of each vase has a simply little Blue Flowering plant. Looks like there was originally some gold lines painted along the high spots near the base. But there is wear and most of the gold is missing. Vases, Hand Blown Pair Cased Glass w/ Ruffled Tops; Deep Pink
These vases are fabulous. The colors are stunning, and the craftsmanship is excellent. They are older pieces yet they are in great condition and show no wear. There are no chips, cracks, or scratches anywhere to be found.They are hand blown and have a ribbed pattern on the body. The insides of the vases are white glass, as are the ruffled tops. The primary vase color is a striking deep pink color with a creamy beige inside the ribbing. This is an unusual color combination which really looks great together. The two vases together weigh just under 3 pounds. They measure 8 in high and 16 in around, and the ruffle at the top measures 5 and a 1/2 n. This pair of vases could also be used as candle sticks. They have nice pontils on the bottoms. And are decorated with handpainted beads and slashes in pink and lavender. Each one stands 6 3/4" tall. With a top diameter of 2 1/8" Though they are painted with the same design, only one of them is trimmed at the top lip with a thin lavendar band. This band is repeated, again, only on the one piece. The other one just has the beads, drips and looping design around the middle of the body. They are a very close match to the pair of mantle lustres that I am also listing. They are a matched pair. However owing to the fact they were made freehand without a mold they are of a slightly different sizes. Both are 5¾” tall, 3½” 3¾” wide at the tops, 2 ¾” 2 7/8” at the foot. The pontil marks can be easily seen to the foot of each one. Being paper-thin, they are very delicate and have been decorated with 24 applied glass flowers and wispy wreath around the foot. They were clearly a labor of love made by a skilled glass blower. It amazing that being so old and fragile they exist at all! And even more astounding they survived as a pair! Pair of Victorian Bristol Hand Painted Floral Blown Glass Bud Vases Ruffled Edge
Pair of Blown Glass mantel vases with hand painted pink flowers with yellow centers. At one time. They both had gold around the ruffled edges and around the base. Most of it has worn off although one vase has the gold line at the base. The glass on one is a little thicker than the other but they are both a milky opalescent with blue tints. The picture of the pontil scars makes the rim look really turquoise colored but the vases aren't that dark. The other pictures show the true coloring much better. The thinner glass one is more transparent.The thinner one also has wider ruffles than the thicker glass vase. Both are in excellent condition.
