A wonderful old Victorian cased glass vase. This interesting vase has a mauve interior and white exterior with some type of applied decoration on the front. The decorations almost look like beading. The ruffled rim looks to have had some type of accent paint around the edges which is now mostly worn away. This vase stands about 5 ½” tall at the highest point. Condition: This vase has no chips. Flakes, cracks, hairlines or repairs. As stated above the only issue is some wear to the decoration. It looks wonderful on display! This is a marriage of an Antique Victorian Ruffled Vase and a Vintage Brass 3 Footed Base. The Vase is 8.5" tall and 9" in diameter at the widest point with a ruffled rim which measures7.75' across and 2" wide. The opening at the top is 4.5' round. It has been set on a vintage brass 3 footed stand which is 5.5" in diameter x 2" high with 3 1.75" feet. Although it does not fit exactly, it looks very good together. Both pieces are in excellent condition!

Hello. thanks for viewing this Victorian Era hand-blown. Ruffled and crackled Art Glass vase of 8-1/2" tall having a 4" open top diameter(2-3/4" diameter vase body) by a 2-5/8" diameter rounded(lipped) foot. Its pontil mark is recessed and smoothed off, and the vase has a rounded collar to match its foot. The vase is quite heavy at one pound, one ounce- and has a very light greenish tint throughout; which is complimentary to the applied French Gilt(gold) Ormolu flowers, leaves and twigs that decorate the vase front. Victorian Ruffled Art Vase Hand Blown With Enamel Floral Painting Applied Ruffle
This is a hand blown art glass Victorian vase with wonderful enamel painting and ruffles. The vase is about 10.5" tall and has as pontil mark on the bottom. It is painted very nicely with a enameled floral design. There is some gold paint. Too. The bottom of the vase has a ruffle, which appears to have been pressed with some sort of mold to give it ridges or a pattern. The vase is in very good condition and does not appear to have any chip or flea bites. There is a spot of roughness to the bottom ruffle but it appears to be from formation of the ridges and not a chip. There is wear to the paint and gold. A light water line is on the inside of the vase and did not wash off with soap and water. It is hard to notice and the vase is very nice. Insurance is included in the shipping. This is a matched PAIR of 12 inch tall hand blown VICTORIAN Ruffled and Amber or Smoke Crested Glass Vases. These would look WONDERFUL flanking each side of a Fireplace Mantel. Each has been very REALISTICALLY hand painted with a large and lovely Apple Blossom Branch design in pink and white. The back of each vase has a simply little Blue Flowering plant. Looks like there was originally some gold lines painted along the high spots near the base. But there is wear and most of the gold is missing. That's the only flaw I could find. no chips, nicks or cracks. Each has a pontil mark on the bottom of the base. These are large and display beautifully! We can't decide if the glass along the crest is amber or smoke in color. but it sets these pieces off to perfection! No maker's mark. GORGEOUS WORKMANSHIP! This is a Spectacular Display Piece with Ground Pontil Mark and is lovely hand painted floral design on a white background and a wonderful satin feel to the glass. If you hold the vase up to light you can see through it. There are lots of tiny bubbles in the vase which gives it character and pontil mark on bottom which is original to the vase and caused during the cooling down process. It does look like there may have been a repair to the vase at top within the ruffles. It is hard to see as someone must have tried to cover it up so you have to look very closely. Offering original victorian period antique hand blown opaque white glass vase with internal pink casing.Ruffled edhes, hand applied enameled floral decoration. It has large scar-rod pontil on the bottom 2 flakes by the top on the ruufled edge, and very thin hair line by the large scar- pontil on the bottom- see pictures. It is 6 3/4" tall. Beautiful antique example of victorian glass. This one probably made by British maker from the Stourbridge/Liverpool area. Fantastic Victorian Art Glass - Cased Glass Epergne - Centerpiece - Ruffled Edge
This is an opportunity to acquire a wonderful ruffled edge Victorian art glass/ 2 piece epergne/ centerpiece. I do not know the maker- but each piece is marked on the bottom with a gold mark- that to me sort of looks like an open-ended figure 8. This is cased glass- white with a pink interior. The floral design is lovely and delicate- and also features metallic gold floral sprays(these did not photograph very well but if you zoom in you may be able to see it) I do want to point out what I believe to be a flaw in the manufacturing process rather than damage. There is a very small space where it looks like the pink glass did not cover the white glass. This does not in any way detract from the beauty of the piece and I had trouble finding it again for the photo. My mother used to refer to similar pieces as"Bristol glass" But I can't ... moreconfirm that. It's a beautiful thing- no matter who made it. The bright yellow vase has swirled ridges and sits on three round balls which also have swirls. The most unusual feature is the highly ruffled top. While the vase is yellow the top edge is trimmed in frosted white. This frosted white trim is roughly 1/8 inches wide. The vase is roughly 7 ½ inches tall and is 3 ¾ inches across at the widest. Lovely Gold Gilt Victorian Bohemian Overshot Ruffled Rim Vase Attr. Harrach
This beautiful Victorian hand Blown Art Glass Vase measures about 5-3/8" tall. The vase is overshot and crackled and has a polished base and pontil. I believe it was made by one of the usual suspects of Bohemian Firms. Such as Harrach who had a tendency to finish their pieces with that sawtooth finish that is on this vase and did pieces with grit or overshot finishes. The vase has gold gilding on an overshot and crackled finished body. The vase is also mold pressed. It really has a lot going on with it.

The vase is about 7” tall and 3” wide. It is made of hand-blown glass and is delicate. The color of the vase is muted light green and is translucent. When you hold the vase to the light. You can see through it. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The gold band on the rim is partly worn off; there is a rim of gold near the bottom of the vase that is complete. Pair of Victorian Ruffled Top White and Peach Cased Satin Glass Vases
This auction is for this very old pair of peach cased glass vases. They have a ruffled edge opening atop their long fluted neck. The are 6-1/2" tall and 4" across at their widest point. They have some manufacturing defects which I have taken close-up pictures of and there is one tiny little chip in one that is pictured in photo#6. A beautiful set for any collection.

Victorian Bristol Glass"Fireglow" Vase: Blown. Hand-Painted, Ruffled Botanical and avian motif. Delicate semi-opaque vase. Creamy light tan to light gray in color. Glows fire red when held to light. Raised painted/enameled botanical motif also depicts a bird(possibly an egret) in flight. Best research dates this piece from the mid to late 1800s. Rare Pair Victorian Art Mantel Vases Ruffled Rim Flower 63546 Rare Pair Victorian Art Mantel Vases Ruffled Rim Flowered leaves and vine s. In my store for your consideration are these two magnificent rare Victorian art Mantel Vases. This is a late Victorian Vases c.1880-1910; white cased glass and double ruffled top; a clear edging is on the ruffled rim picking up the colour of the vine and leaves. There are two applied flowered prunts same color as the glass edging on the ruffle. Going down from the prunts is a vine with leaves spouting out from the vines. Vases are 70" tall and 4 inches at the widest point in the center and the opening is 2 inches. The pontiff on the base is smooth polished slightly concave almost level with the rest of the bottom and visible to show they were hand blown. There are no chips or cracks but one each one ... moreof the mantle vases there is a piece of the leaf missing on the one vase. You can see in the pictures but you have to look closely to see the missing glass prunt. It is hard to say how this could possiably happen with out damaging the rest of the vase but it did not. I have looked closely and cannot find a signature and also did a lot of research and could not find many glass company that made this style. They were generally signed by the artist that had blown the glass. I was at the Sandwich glass company and did see similar vases. But these are unmarked so I really can’t say who made these,

Pair of Blown Glass mantel vases with hand painted pink flowers with yellow centers. At one time. They both had gold around the ruffled edges and around the base. Most of it has worn off although one vase has the gold line at the base. The glass on one is a little thicker than the other but they are both a milky opalescent with blue tints. The picture of the pontil scars makes the rim look really turquoise colored but the vases aren't that dark. The other pictures show the true coloring much better. The thinner glass one is more transparent.The thinner one also has wider ruffles than the thicker glass vase. Both are in excellent condition. Large Victorian Ruffled Top Vase - Enameled - Crimped - Pontil
Here is a very old antique glass vase that has it all. It is from the Victorian era and was hand blown and hand painted. The top is crimped. It is a two tone with enamel painted accents. The teal blue color is very typical of the 1880/90's and earlier. This is a fine piece as the pontil was finished off quite nicely. It stands beautifully at approx. 10 1/4" high at the highest point. No chips or cracks. My reference for this piece is Ruth Webb Lee's book on Victorian Glass. I believe it is American made. But I don't know for sure. A exquisitely delicate vase with cranberry ruffled rim and floral glass beadwork decorating the front. In excellent condition. This measures 5 1/2" tall and 4" diameter at its widest.
