We present to a"RARE" 1889-1900 Emile Galle signed Cameo carved multi-colored layers of white. Deep yellow and olive green. The Galle signature technique raised layered relief on base of glass with enameled design of enhanced colors with transparency of opaque cameo to clear materials. Wheel and acid etched. The Vase follows the technique of"wheel cut" bottom. Which shows as cut a layering of the yellow, green color overlay utilized for this Vase. The design is atypical of Galle"Botanical" collection. This particular design is of"Yellow Clematis" used frequently in other colors by Galle. As the photo's depict the stems and leaves are green and lead up to the yellow flowers. The bottom rim of the Vase is wrapped in a deep Olive Green to Yellow. It is internally polished as is atypical with Galle ... moreas well.
