You are viewing a PAIR(2) ANTIQUE BLUE GLASS BRISTOL HAND PAINTED VASES with RUFFLED RIMS which are HAND BLOWN and measure 7 1/2" tall. They are in very good vintage condition. NO CRACKS. There is VERY SLIGHT PAINT LOSS ON GOLD TRIM LINES, but the paint on the flowers is excellent. There is a paint streak on the ruffle of one of the vases as seen in the photos but it is not a crack. It is a streak of brown paint either in the blue glass or on top of the blue glass, probably on top. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Please view my other auctions and thanks for looking! Here is a green glass vase with hand painted floral(iris) decoration in gold. I believe it is a Bristol vase from Victorian England and it was hand crafted by being blown from the top. It is cased glass with a layer of white on the inside. And a ground and polished flat surface at the upper lip. It stands about 9 1/2" high and is in excellent condition. I have several other pieces of nice Victorian art glass that I just picked up from the home of a former dealer. check them out!

Awesome Victorian Aqua Bristol Glass Hand Blown & Painted Vase
A really beautiful piece. Great color and decoration, it is in nice condition with slight painting wear and trim wear. There was a small design on the opposite side that can just barely be seen. There are no chips or cracks, just very tiny nips in the rim as shown. The interior is white, it is a nice size at 10 1/2” tall, the base is flat. The vase has the unfinished pontil on the underside. WHEN MADE: Mid to late 1800s SIZE: Approximately 13 3/4" tall CONDITION: Free of cracks or repairs with minor wear to the enamel. There is a tiny chip hole on the underside of the top section as pictured. It appears to be an air bubble in the glass that popped leaving a tiny hole. It would be virtually impossible for the vase to be chipped in this area so this is a manufacturing flaw that is not readily noticeable to the casual observer. This pair of vases could also be used as candle sticks. They have nice pontils on the bottoms. And are decorated with handpainted beads and slashes in pink and lavender. Each one stands 6 3/4" tall. With a top diameter of 2 1/8" Though they are painted with the same design, only one of them is trimmed at the top lip with a thin lavendar band. This band is repeated, again, only on the one piece. The other one just has the beads, drips and looping design around the middle of the body. They are a very close match to the pair of mantle lustres that I am also listing. This is a very rare hard to find beautiful Bristol vase. Its just under 11.25 inches tall and about 3.25 inches wide. I believe this to be from around the 1880's. There is a pontil mark on the bottom confirming be hand blown. The flower scene is mainly intact and quite nicely done. This as with all hand blown items do have small inclusions. Air bubbles, glass strings and dimples. This mainly has bubbles but there are some that are very close to surface and possibly the small flea bit on lip was due to this. In the photographs I have pictured a slip of paper I found inside which is marked Grammy Somebody's Wedding Present 7/10/10. The vase is about 10" tall and there are plenty of bubbles in the glass. Hand blown see the bottom. There are NO chips or cracks. This vase is decorated with Yellow flowers. And the paint is raised. In places the yellow paint appears to be worn off but what remains is still raised and has a silver gray appearance. See the photo showing the top of the vase. If you hold the vase just write there is a little cloudiness probably from water about 2/3 up. You have to hold it in strong light and look just right to see it. The vase weighs a pound. Antique Victorian Frosted Bristol Blown Glass Vase Hand Painted Flowers 6&1/8"
This is a beautiful old handpainted Bristol glass vase. It is a white frosted glass decorated with with yellow. Blue, green and gilt flowers. It has gilt edging and a pontil mark on the bottom. It measures 6&1/8" tall by 2&1/2" in diameter at the widest part. No chips or cracks. Some paint loss on the leaves and a little dirt in the base that I couldn't reach. Victorian Painted Blown Glass Bristol or Opaline Vase. Aesthetic Movement 1880
This unusual blown glass Taupe Bristol or Opaline Aesthetic Movement vase has a higher back than front. The top is rimmed with gold. Has very little wear. Painted enamel floral design on the front and inside, with some decoration on the back as well. I have never seen another with a top like this!
