Cased vaseline and opal white ewer vase had colourless applied handle and hand painted geometric and floral decor done in enamel paint. No chips on the rim. Breaks, but does have brown rust stains inside the bottom on the bottom of the base. Does not distract. Handle has a teeny chip at the end of the handle where it adheres to the body of the glass. Found by touch. Does glow NEON GREEN under a black light. Measures: 9-7/8" tall with a 3-1/4" diameter rim and the low footed base is 2-1/4" diameter. Bohemian and mostly likely from Harrach. Pink Ewer is blown of satin cased glass with hand ... morepainted floral motif. Rim is cut at an angle and polished smooth with hand painted gold which has a semi over run of gold on the rim. Excellent condition. No visible chips. Hairline breaks, but does have some stain spots and you can see it on the bottom of the inside located on the base. Can't be seen unless you flip the ewer over. I found by touch a teeny nick on the handle where is adheres to the glass body. Does not distract. Not marked and believed to be attributed to Harrach or other Bohemian glass maker, 1900 or after. 6-1/2" tall. 1-1/2" diameter rim and the flat footed base is 2-1/4" diameter. Victorian era vase is blown of satin and glossy opaline glass in a unique shape. The banded rings and rim are glossy finished whereas the parts in between are satin. Vase has a colorful hand painted flowers done in vibrant enamels. No fading in the hand painted enamel decor. Marked. 58. near the pontil on the low footed base. Mary Gregory Bohemian Victorian Era 1880s Cobalt Blue Rococo Garden Art Glass I just purchased this antique Bohemian Mary Gregory style vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The vase is characteristic of enamel decorated Victorian designs produced by a number of Bohemian glass factories and decorating studios working in the later 19th century. The vase is very well executed with thin wall and rich cobalt blue color to the mold blown flared form. The white enamel décor features a Rococo inspired gent standing amidst a garden with outreached rose(these were typically produced as pairs) The hand painting shows very fine detail and nice depth/ shading throughout. The piece measures 5" high and 4 ¾" across the top rim. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage or noted wear(other than a row of fine contact ... morewear on the underside foot ring) The original ground/ polished top rim shows no flakes chips. This handsome Rococo inspired design would make a fine addition to any collection of 1880's/ 1890's Mary Gregory art glass or Victorian decorative arts. International bidders. Base has a crimped ruffled edge. On the center of the base. Is a ribbon of applied pinched drips. Antique Victorian Art Glass Basket Description: Bohemian art glass basket is blown of cased glass. The shape of the basket has rows of inverted bubbles which this decor pattern was used on other bowl shapes from 1900-1910. The ombre. Shaded blue to white is on the interior side of the basket. Exterior is opaque white. Low footed base has a polished pontil. Handle is a rare colour. As most thorn handles are clear. Coloured handles do not surface often.
