2 Emerald Green Antique Silver Overlay vases Alvin ? Art Deco Nouveau flower
As the title says. Beautiful pair of green silver overlay vases. My best guess is that this is early 1900's as this is the thick, heavy overlay that they used back then.no the paperthin stuff used afterwards. Both have floral patterns with actual etching marks and designs in the silver itself. Taller vase is about 5 1/8" tall and stubbier one is 2.5" tall. Tall one is in great shape and smaller one has a dip on the upper rim(seen in picture) and a little fogginess to the glass.a cleaning should help. Not sure if this a factory blem or after the fact damage, but the silver is still in tact in that area, but does follow the dip/crease.see picture. No hallmarks, but great looking, old pieces. This vase/bowl has a nickel-plated collar and a green threaded glass base. There are no breaks or repairs to the applied threaded design. Antique Pair Green Glass Iridescent Lge Vases Hand Painted in Gold Exc Condition
These Pair of Large Green Iridescent Vases are beautiful.with Hand Painted Gold Grape& Grape Leaf Designs + Gold Scrolls. The size is approx 22cm overall in height x 7cm diameter@ the tops + they have a Gold Rim@ the top. I'm not sure of their age. They were my Great Grand Mother's, have been behind Glass in a Cabinet, so no fading or damage. Excellent Condition.
