Antique Bohemian Art Glass Vase- Bowl Description: This is very special piece of art glass from Harrach. The decor is called Glatt Iris Crystall and was produced in 1876. The invention of Hot Shaped. Iridescent glass is attributed to chemist, Leo V. Pantocsek, the techonologist at J. G. Zahn Glassworks in Zlatno, Slovakia. The J.G. Zahn Glassworks, presented iridescent glass at the 1873 World's Fair in Vienna. Harrach had a great deal of interest in mastering the technique of hot-shaping iridescent glass and the beginning of the production is dated from 1875-76. The glass is cased with outside layer being deep oxblood red which fades from dark to light. The inside is creamy uranium glass. Which glows bright green under black light. Moroccan Persian Bohemian Harrach Webb Hand Painted Enamel Victorian Art Glass I just purchased this antique"Moroccan" Persian" Style enamel decorated vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. This late 19th century decorative treatment is typically attributed to Thomas Webb& Sons. But was more likely a Bohemian glass house/ studio(perhaps Harrach) The opaque white/ milk glass ground is finished in a pastel yellow ground with Middle Eastern inspired scrolling done in periwinkle with black border bands. The surface is covered in stylized florals and scrolled foliage done in brightly colored enamel slip. The vase measures 8 ¾" high, 5" wide at the shoulder and 2 1/8" O.D. across the top rim. The piece is finished at the top with a polished/ beveled rim. The vase is in good condition with no hairlines ... moreor chips. This Harrach vase is 7 1/8 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter at the top. The vase is 3 ¼ inches in diameter on the bottom. It is cranberry in color and has an applied goat with horns. The piece is hand blown and is not marked. We attribute it to Harrach of the Bohemia area circa 1910. There are some small flakes missing on the enamel on the goat. There are a few tiny frits on the bottom.

Lovely Gold Gilt Victorian Bohemian Overshot Ruffled Rim Vase Attr. Harrach
This beautiful Victorian hand Blown Art Glass Vase measures about 5-3/8" tall. The vase is overshot and crackled and has a polished base and pontil. I believe it was made by one of the usual suspects of Bohemian Firms. Such as Harrach who had a tendency to finish their pieces with that sawtooth finish that is on this vase and did pieces with grit or overshot finishes. The vase has gold gilding on an overshot and crackled finished body. The vase is also mold pressed. It really has a lot going on with it.

Antique Enameled Art Glass Vase, English Webb Moroccan or Harrach, Bohemian
Colorful art glass vase decorated with a Moroccan– Persian tapestry type enamel design. We have seen similar vases attributed to Webb who produced his enameled Moroccan pattern in the 1880’s. We have also discovered a very similar vase pictured in the book“Collectible Bohemian Glass 1880-1940” page 136(see photo) Regardless of the maker. It is a lovely example of antique art glass in a beautiful color combination. It is not signed. The vase measures an impressive 11-1/2 inches tall and is in excellent condition for its age. There is some very minor wear to the white beading and enameled flowers(see photos) The bronze-gold rim also reflects some loss commensurate with age- fortunately the remaining bronze confirms the vase has never been cut down or repaired. Beautiful art glass vase or lamp. Unsigned, but I am told it is made by Harrach. Wide& heavy base measures 9 1/2" wide by x 5 3/4" tall to threads. With burner it measures 8" tall.The burner was converted to electric. Knob is missing. Burner probably needs to be replaced. Glass is a beautiful frosted sea foam or turquoise color. Gold enameling accents the the top& bottom of the base. No chips or cracks. The glass does have a dark mark that measures 2" long at the base(see last 2 pics) I have made no attempt to remove it. Antique Bohemian Variegated Art Glass Vase Description: Art glass vase is blown of jewel tone. Amethyst glass with many applied decoration in various colours. The applied rim and claw feet are of amber glass. Applied cattails are a vibrant blue with splashes of opaque white. Applied rosette is warm. Rosey orange colour with splashes of opaque white. Blue button in center of the applied rosette. The applied stem and leaves are a dark green with olive undertones. As a seller. The exterior is completely covered over in powdered overshot frit glass. Applied handle is pink with pinched thorns. The pressed embossed mold pattern is a multi quilted diamond and vertical rib. Basket has a 8 section elongated lobed shape and the flared rim is crimped with a ruffled edge. Ground pontil on the flat base. Excellent condition for a 120+ year old basket. A lovely creamy white opaline antique Bohemian glass vase. With excellent quality workmanship, hand crafted in the Count Harrachov glass hut. Combining typical style of the late Victorian era trend, with a tight crimped upper rim with cased opaque pink glass opening and clear satin white glass ruffle edging, as well as an application of light blue and clear glass beads coralene in a seaweed motif. Partially marked with this period's Harrach's export black circle with three feathers on the base. Measures six inches high. With a weight of 253 grams. Pontil evident on base. Design of blue seaweed is a combination of pale blue enamel outline with applied small round beads of varying sizes in clear and light blue glass. Antique Victorian Bohemian Art Glass Ewer Vase Description: Bohemian glass ewer jug is blown of cased glass with applied handle. Interior is opal white. Exterior is peach with silver mica inclusions. Handle is blown of colourless crystal glass with pinched thorns. Shape of the ewer has a round pillow shape. Low footed base has an unpolished pontil. Excellent condition. Ewer has no chips. Hairline breaks or mineral deposit. There is a black mark from when it was blown. This is not a flaw from use. Applied decoration has no damage. 6-7/8" tall. 2-1/4"diameter rim and the base is 2-7/8" diameter. Attributed to Harrach most likely from the Victorian era. Wooden base is not included. This is a very beautiful Antique Hand painted.And enameled Bohemian Harrach Art Glass vase. It is unmarked, it beleived to be made on Harrach in Bohemian circa 1880-1890. T his vase is decorated with heavy enameling in gold color. Approximately 7 1/4' inches H. And 5 3/4' inches Widest{the body part of the vase} The vase is in a good used condition. There is two sections of applied glass on the rim and just below the rim. The rim has colourless applied seashell motifs with scalloped edges. And just below the rim, there is a ribbon of colourless rigaree. The colourless applied base has larger shaped seashell motifs. Unpolished and snapped pontil on the base. 8" tall.
