Have a look at the gorgeous Tiger Stripe grain figure throughout; with beautiful Incised& Leaf carvings& ribbed apron base. A couple small bits of carving on the corners missing, touched up to blend. The upholstery is not original, re-done at some point in time but it is cheerful& perfectly servicable with no holes, tears or odors. The upholstery could be easily recovered in you choose. Although there is no mattress.I guess there must have been some padding at one time. Im sure you creative types out there can figure out exactly how this originally functioned. When open, the front section is webbed& has inner springs, perhaps the back section also did at one time. There is a heavy iron center latch& thick iron fold-down corner supports. On the one side you can see 2 folding iron frames that come to rest at an angle, presumably as headrests. The sofa measures 72.5 inches long, 21.5 inches deep& 33 inches high with a 23 inch high pillow end& 16 inch high seat. The doctor told me that he had worked with Dr Fred Barge many years ago. The doctor told me he bought this lounge chair and a few other items from him. This is a stunning beautifully crafted antique wicker chaise and chair from no later than the 1920's. These pieces are both spring set and have the original horsehair pads that were recovered many years ago with these vintage quilted and floral fabrics and the original fabric still remains underneath. The set is clean and has no odors. The frames and springs are sturdy and the cushions are excellent although a small amount of insignificant stain can be found. These pieces have such great vintage character and need no restoration unless you want to perfect the paint or recover the cushions. Up for auction is an antique wooden chaise lounge with a caned wicker bottom. I have no idea of the age. Just that it was given to me over 30 years ago and was old then. It is wooden, not sure the type of wood. The bottom is caned wicker. The back piece is adjustable with a brass arm that fits into brass fittings for different heights. At the top it sits at approximately a 90 degree angle and at the bottom it goes flat. It measures 68 inches long, 26 inches wide and 30 and 1/2 inches tall(measuring at the tallest part near the headrest) The wicker is in great condition, no broken areas, feels strong and looks good. With a delightful mellowed brown velvet covering, which in our opinion is in quite nice condition for it's age and certainly not something we would consider changing(though it does have minor discolorations and blemishes here and there, none particularly noteworthy) it is of a perfect tone to blend well with most interiors; the worn painted surface and tonal warmth bring a certain magnetism to the settee. The simple carved and molded frame flows around the settee very naturally, the arms wrapping ... morearound to hug the deeply upholstered cushion; the entire form rests over turned and tapered stop-fluted legs in the French taste, terminating in plain ball toes. Antique Fainting Couch Lounge Chaise Hardwood Frame
For your consideration is an antique chaise lounge/fainting couch. Current owner bought it in an antique store many years ago. So original history is unknown. It has been re-upolstered with a dark green floral print velvet and at that time the springs and stuffing were replaced. This has been used in an office for many years so it has only been casually used. Fabric is slightly faded on the side from the light coming in the window as seen in the pictures. This piece measures 6 feet in length. 32" wide and stands 29" high at the tall end and 20" high at the lower end. This is for local pickup only. Unless you have a freight carrier that you work with and would like to arrange pick up. Austrian Designer Mid Century Maple Curved Chaise Lounge Paul T. Frankl????
This very unusual curved chaise lounge was purchased in Kitchener Canada and has been in my possesion for over 20 years. It is a designer piece. I was told by an Austrian designer, at one time someone showed me info on the designer and a picture of the chaise launge on line, but I cannot find that factoid. It is a hardwood frame, it had been professionsally restored and has been recovered about ten years ago, some minor scuffs on the frame and spots on the cover. The dowels in the legs need to be re-glued, as they have loosened; the feet take a lot of toque. Overall the imperfections are minor and expected of furniture that is that age. Not a museum piece but it shows well. It is 80 inches long by about 30 inches wide, and 31 inches high. This is unsual and it is not likely you will ever see anything like this. Circa 1940 Mahogany frame Lovely carvings Three tears to upholstery Sturdy and strong, This very elegant antique chaise sofa is an English antique from sometime around the year 1940. The frame is a beautiful mahogany and it is currently upholstered with a striped fabric. This is a very sturdy sofa that was made with a stout frame. The fabric shows a little more white and less dirty than it appears in real life. Combine this with the three tears to the fabric that you can clearly see in the photos and we recommend that you have ... morethis piece reupholstered in your own fabric. The two cylinder shaped cushions are included. They do come off. They are not sewn into place. A great selection of mahogany was used to build the frame and has some very nice hand carved detail to it. Both the back rest and the arm rests are detailed with flora-like carvings that really help accent the overall elegant shape of the chaise. Four turned feet keep the entire piece sturdy and strong. The frame is in excellent condition with only a few minor wear marks here and there. The seating area measures 61″ wide and 20″ deep. The seat is 16″ high and the arm rests are 29.5″ high. This elegant antique chaise sofa would look great in any home or office! The arm rests have a lovely shape and are decorated with fine carvings. The turned feet are also quite sturdy. Antique French Regency Design Chaise Lounge
We came across this ornate piece by chance. It is a chaise lounge or sofa with dark cherry oak. The detailing of the oak is amazing claw feet. A Lion's head at the'sleigh' curve, and I believe Lioness' heads at the posts. The woodwork does needs some repair& refinished, and it needs to be re-upholstered. Again, we came across this by chance and DO NOT know the HISTORY of it, so please don't ask. I did consult an antiques dealer who stated that they'd never seen anything like it before, and I did a search of old chaise lounges and didn't see anything even close to it. PICK UP ONLY

EARLY 20TH ANTIQUE BROWN LEATHER CHAISE LOUNGE GREEN TAPESTRY UPHOLSTERY ANIMALS
Here is an absolutely fabulous early 20th century brown leather chaise with lovely old style green tapestry slip cover that includes multi-colored animals dispersed throughout the design as shown. this comfortable. Functional piece is 80 inches long by 35 inches wide and the bed with cushion is place is 21 1/2 inches tall. The cushion and bed of the chaise itself measures 65 inches long and 35 inches wide at it's widest point and is 5 inches thick, so without the cushion the bed stands 16 1/2 inches above the floor. This chaise is large enough for a man as tall as 6' 4" or so to rest comfortably on it. The sofa is strong, sturdy and in overall very nice condition. There are a few minor scuffs and small scratches to the leather and the one tiny 3/4" slice/puncture on the top front of arm mentioned in my detailed description ... moreabove but otherwise this chaise is exceptionally nice for a piece it's age. The tapestry slip cover on the cushion does have a zipper so it can be removed for dry cleaning when needed. This is a gorgeous chaise in the style of Louis the XV. I purchased it in an antique shop in Hudson New York and was told it was from to early 1900's. It is upholstered in a lovely blue floral fabric. The wood frame is cream with blue trim. It is in immaculate condition. The chaise is full length it measures about 52 inches long by 26 inches wide it is 31 inches high to top of the crest and to the top of the cushion it is 17 1/2 inches. I paid over $1200 for this chaise and am only selling it as I am downsizing. This chaise would look wonderful in a bedroom or living room. It is kept in a pet free and smoke free home. Measurements: 57" L x 25" W x 37 7/8" H; 18-19" H to seat Condition Report: Heavily distressed surface with significant gilt loss and abrasions. Though the overall effect is rather pleasing visually. Some joint separations, specifically where the ottoman joins the bergere, this being a sensitive joint- it does not require attention, though we could certainly reglue the joint, but expect some wiggle when lifting and moving.
