If only this vintage loveseat could tell us it's stories! We are unsure of the exact age- only that it belonged to a grandmother who had had the item for years. If that grandmother was alive now. She would be over 115 years old. She called this her"horsehair chair" It could possibly have been recovered but certainly not recently. Vintage 3 Piece Parlor Set w Mother of Pearl Inlay 2 Chairs and Loveseat PRETTY
Here is a LOVELY 3 piece vintage parlour set for sale. I believe this to be cherry wood and I think the fabric is still original. This set has a very fancy inlay with some abstract figures that almost look like pumpkin heads lol. They also have some round mother of pearl inlays in them comming off the abstract figures. Very unique inlay, I have not ever seen anything quite like it. Overall all 3 pieces in good condition, there is some surface scratching to the back of the chair with arms as you can see in the last pic, that chair still has its casters, the other pieces do not. The front of that chair is very nice with minimal wear. Green Velvet French Louis XV Style Chaise Lounge Mid to Late 20th Century Item# 120010ERT221 This is a full length Louis XV Chaise Lounge upholstered in Green Velvet from the mid-to-late 20th Century. It features a full barrel back. Loosely tufted with a curved crest and outward scrolled arms. The upholstery is quite comfortable and in overall very good condition, noting the minor flaws mentioned below. It rests over six carved cabriole legs, each terminating in lightly scrolled french toes. It is a fine piece for that sunroom or corner of the bedroom, very sturdy and strong throughout and perfect to stretch out on. I have a sofa and a loveseat from the 1920's-1940's. Not exactly sure when they were produced. But I am sure on the era. I have had these two for five years and are in excellent condition. The cushions are separated and may be washed. The wood on the couches can be refinished. But I left them because this is a rare piece of furniture. This depression era Victorian antique loveseat is stuffed with horse hair. I was told it was from the 1920's and reupholstered in the 1930's. This was a family heirloom. The color is faded in places. And there are some stains. There do not seem to be tears or outright damage, other than minor wear from moving. Please review the photos. The feet are on original small casters.
