The measurements are approximately 56" long, 22.5" wide and 40" tall. Overall it is in great antique condition. The upholstery is fine. The pink gimp ribbon has one frayed area on the back on the piece and one area that was reattached in the center front where a persons legs would hit it. A selection for any interior designer or home owner looking to bring the nostalgia and charm only found in the patina and form from the 18th Century. It is a form known as a double-back settee. Crafted in the George III Chippendale style from elements of 18th Century pieces to bring that natural depth and warmth. The crest flows with a soft serpentine over pierced bell-bottom splats. Terminating at each corner in sharp pointed ears over inward curved stiles that flow directly into the slightly canted back feet. The slip seat is trapezoidal in shape, a geometrical stitched upholstery of period design covering the frame, flanked on either side by curving arms. ... moreThe entire design rests over three square front legs locked together with a box-form stretcher. Giltwood finish appears to be original. It has a fine old patina on the arms where the gilding has worn away. Purchased at auction at Fisher Brothers in New York over 35 years ago. Recently reupholstered in a rich golden fabric with tree leaf and berry motif. There are absolutely no blemishes of any kind to the upholstery. Brass leg caps have a beaded design and wooden wheels. C. 1900-15 Item# 130001KKG27 This is a very fine French Louis XVI Style Antique Settee with Gilded Carved surfaces. Crafted during the first years of the 20th Century at the end of the Rococo Revival period, c. 1900-15. It is an exceptional piece in every way, the molding work on every exposed surface is simply above reproach. The crest rail is bowed with an unusual carved design at the apex, lifting in swirls and actually flowing up and over the back of the settee. This is flanked on each corner with highly detailed acorn finials over floral carvings that fall along the stiles. The arms are likewise decorated, the handholds with carved acanthus leaves, the arm supports with scaled molding over acanthus foliage at the knees. I think this is absolutely beautiful. All the wood is original. It is a cherry veneer with the inlaid gold wood.The scrolling on it as you can see is very beautiful as well. I have never seen one like it. I bought it at an auction in the 70's. I had it reupholstered and that was all. It is 43 inches in length. It has wooden casters on the legs. Approx 18 inches from floor to seat. For something of this age over 100 years it is in remarkable good condition. It is comfortable to sit in. You would need to make your own arrangements for pick up. I live in the Kansas City vicinity in the Johnson County Kansas side.

I believe this piece is made of walnut and has detailed pressed wood designs as well as carvings in the crown. Crest, central panel, handgrips and the seat rail. The backrest has divided button-tufted cushions and is trimmed with a beautiful gold welt, or trim! There are beautiful burled wood accent strips on the crest rail and flanking the back cushions. The front legs are turned. The Green& Gold upholstery appears to be original. As the seat is showing some very slight signs of wear in the knap of the fabric. Overall this piece is in good condition. From an estate. This antique loveseat or settee is in very good sturdy condition. It can be used as is with a good steam cleaning if so desired. It is smaller than a couch. Measurements are: approx 47 inches across the front and about 42 inches high in the back. Two people can sit comfortably on this chair. And maybe three children. The actual seat area is about 40 inches by 19. Front to back width 21 inches. The part you lean against measures 38 inches across. Seems to be in original condition. The back top edge has some blue rub marks. Not sure if they are paint. I have not tried to get them out. The springs feel great! Fabric is intact. And button type nails are holding the fabric around the legs leading me to believe it's from 1940's early 50's? Pick up is preferred. The frame is heavily carved solid walnut beneath a light layer of gesso and is covered in an oxidized and worn gilding. Carved in the typical Louis XVI manner. The frame is molded with rope carvings around the entirety of it and is crested by a twisted ribbon wreath. Resting over tapered and fluted legs and terminating in balled stumps, the settee remains incredibly sturdy and strong; it is very comfortable and supportive for lounging and relaxing, despite having been designed primarily as a stunning decorative work. Beautiful hand carved French Provincial small-scale settee. The beautiful wood frame is painted glossy black. With yellow velvet upholstery offset with tack trim. Truly one of a kind antique. High quality carving and craftsmanship. It's very sturdy and good for everyday use. Quite comfortable with a down cushion. Totally elegant and charming! This is the perfect piece for a smaller space: apartment living rooms. Entryways, the hall, a dressing room or bedroom. I don't know exact age, but antique/vintage. Possibly 1920's. This depression era Victorian antique loveseat is stuffed with horse hair. I was told it was from the 1920's and reupholstered in the 1930's. This was a family heirloom. The color is faded in places. And there are some stains. There do not seem to be tears or outright damage, other than minor wear from moving. Please review the photos. The feet are on original small casters.
