D E S C R I P T I O N: Spectacular hand-carved figured solid wood frame with mahogany finish. Antique French Victorian style settee retaining its original needlepoint upholstery, from early 1900’s. The underneath springs were professionally rebuild and reupholstered. Solid and firm. With its graceful front. Free flowing arms, and incredible hand carved front, legs and arms, this settee is sure to please. This settee is amazing; it sets the stage with not only a beautiful carved frame. But with its breathtaking needlepoint. The needlepoint is in excellent condition. No holes, no lose threads. In fantastic original condition. This settee does have one minor flaw; a piece of the back leg at some point was re-glued(pic.10) and some minor nicks here and there, otherwise outstanding. The coasters are missing.
