Antique Oak Couch. Hide a Bed I took this couch apart many years ago and refinished the wood but never got around to having it reupholstered. It has been stored in the shed ever since. Probably close to 10 years. Wood still looks in great shape but very dirty. I still have all the original cushions and hide a bed mechanism.My thoughts were to have the upholsters turn it into a regular sofa but I still have the original hide a bed mechanism if wanted. Fabric and cushions are very dirty and cobwebs are free! With a little TLC, this could once again become a beautiful piece. I believe it was manufactured about 1925. This is a fantastic Mission style sofa with a hideway bed inside. It does need to be recovered but I had a mattress made for it about 8 years ago so it's in good condition. very cool cowboy couch and rocking chair from the 50's no holes in the material but some wear on the wood stain fading away but i think that makes the wagon wheels look more rustic but could be stained again and shine like new mostly on the armrest the color on the spokes may clean up with some oil soap everything works great folds to a bed/futon and the rocker is good also i'm starting this auction low so get in and win it a local antique dealer appraised it at $400 but i have seen the couch only bring more than that local pick-up only in central Illinois and would prefer after 4pm through the week anytime most weekends

Vintage Western Sofa-bed from 40's or 50's
Lovingly referred to as our Cowboy Couch.This item has been in my husband's family for decades. They were told it resembled the couch in Zane Grey's cabin, which burned down years ago. Green naugahyde with stitching of saddles. Needs lots of TLC due to heavy use over the years. The seam stitch in middle of backrest has let go& needs to be repaired. The seat cushions were recovered yrs. ago by husband's mom with heavy fabric. There is one more tear on the back-rest and another on one of the cushions.
