Antique Couch& Chair with Carved Wood pre1940s Excellent Condition COIL SPRING CUSHIONS This is an excellent matched set couch/sofa and chair. Unbelievable in its uniqueness. I personnally reupholstered this in the early 1980s. I tied the coil springs in an eightway tie. The cushions were rebuilt using original design. The cushions have inner coil springs on all and wrapped in cotton batting. You won't see another one of this quality. It has hardly been used or sat upon. This has been in the family that I can document at least since the 1930s. But I do not know its actual age. Although I was told by an expert it was probably from the 1920s. This is an antique vintage couch and matching rocker that has ornate carved goose neck arms. This set is presently upholstered in a burgandy textured material. There are no holes or rips in the material. The set has never been refinished. I believe that this is mahogany wood. The feet appear to be carved animal feet and the goose neck arms are rolled. The couch measures 36-inches in height and 80-inches in length. The seating area is 64-inches wide and 21 7/8-inches deep. As seen in the pictures. This antique sofa has three cushions. The center arch is ornately carved. This set dates to the 1900-1950 age. The carved, curved backrest flows into the arms and slanting surface of the sofa. Both pieces show wear in the wooden frames, as seen in the pictures. This set has been in the same family for a number of years.

D E S C R I P T I O N: Spectacular hand-carved figured solid wood frame with mahogany finish. Antique French Victorian style settee retaining its original needlepoint upholstery, from early 1900’s. The underneath springs were professionally rebuild and reupholstered. Solid and firm. With its graceful front. Free flowing arms, and incredible hand carved front, legs and arms, this settee is sure to please. This settee is amazing; it sets the stage with not only a beautiful carved frame. But with its breathtaking needlepoint. The needlepoint is in excellent condition. No holes, no lose threads. In fantastic original condition. This settee does have one minor flaw; a piece of the back leg at some point was re-glued(pic.10) and some minor nicks here and there, otherwise outstanding. The coasters are missing. This is an amazing antique sofa recently reupholstered in silver velvet. We estimate it to be maybe 100 years old or more. It was an amazing find at an estate sale. We had it completely reupholstered. Including the three pillows with striped silk and gold edging. This sofa is very massive and heavy. It probably weighs around 200-300 pounds. Structurally very solid. Not wobbly or unsteady. Built to last! We would keep it but we are moving to a smaller place and it simply won't fit. Check the dimensions! Much larger than today's furniture. 90" wide. 42" high, 40" deep. In our last house we had to remove a window to get it in and out. Transportation will be up to you.

This Victorian style sofa. We believe was made around 1920, but could possibly be older. It is in excellent, sturdy condition, considering its age. 6 and 1/2 feet wide. 2 and a half feet deep, 34 inches tall from bottom of foot to top of crown. The intricate details are hand carved in the 3 front legs and ornate crown piece. We believe this is made of walnut. And has a walnut colored finish. There are some scratches to the finish, but all appear to be minor. certainly able to be sanded out if someone had a mind to refinish the wood. There does not appear to be any major damage at all. This is definitely not the original fabric. It has been lovingly reupholstered in this light denim colored fabric with off white rose print. The upholstery appears to be in great condition. I have not seen any holes or stains. The same fabric is under the cushions ... moreas well(see photo) It also includes two matching throw pillows of the same fabric. Also in great condition. This can be viewed and is on public display at our store. Located at 1117 Main Street, Union Grove WI. Though it can be viewed here. The actual sale will be made through ebay to the highest bidder. This auction is for a beautiful revival couch from the late 1920s. Early 1930s. Hard to say what the style is, but it seems like a combination of Federal and Hepplewhite. The pictures wash out the color a bit, it's a little brighter than you see. The one with the straight-up shot of the post gives you the best indication of the color. We hate to see this go, the carving on it is absolutely beautiful and exquisite, but we don't have the room and with kids in the future it's not very practical and will likely get damaged. As you can see, has some minor damage. The buyer will either want to reupholster the entire thing, or DIY fix it themselves. Honestly, ... morethe repairs should be pretty easy to perform. You have two areas on the front that should be very easy to stitch, one small area at the top back cushion, and also the back part(see pictures) where you'll need to retack the material. It's really not that difficult. Or, get the whole thing done with whatever material you want. The original foam was hardened from age, so we restuffed the cushion ourselves. The bottom of the couch has a little give but the springs still provide support. You don't need to have these fix, currently we simply have a wide board in there to disperse weight, but there are actually slips you can get that safeguard further wear or the need to have it resprung. The main thing about this piece is the carving, it's awesome. Incredible detail with lots of plant-like forms, arrows, things like that. It's a really nice couch, and actually quite comfortable. Fantastic estate sale purchase. This is just lovely, wonderful carving, wonderful shape and form. great size low like slipper chair, measures 31" tall, 15 inches to top of seat. It is 41 inches wide and 20 inches deep. Perfect size for end of bed or in the ladies bedroom, extremely comfortable. It is sturdy as can be was painted white not so well a long time ago, needs new upholstery and has the old springs all good but need to be retied, sag a little bit, all minor stuff, this is a charmer. I can send it Greyhound express packed with bubblewrap and cardboard to your location for you to pick up at your local Greyhound express for $145. Can do limited local delivery for a small fee.

This couch has not been refurbished. It is in the original factor sold condition and has not been polished yet either. As found in the estate. Sold as bought. The wood shape is amazing on both Eagle heads and on the back board flags and badge. The wood color is great and after polish should be amazing. The couch measures over 80" long and 34 1/2" tall at its tallest point. The rope work on the bottom has some missing/ broken of(DEPICTED) make sure you see this before bidding. With a little searching you can get a good match or just sculpt your own out of compound. The fabric is complete and un ripped as well. The seat cousion area has some lumps in it as depicted. 2 of the tufts/ buttons are missing but their back plates are still anchored, this is an easy fix. An outstanding 2 piece parlor set. Picked them up at auction here in Upstate New York. Believed to be from the 1930's. Heavily carved dark walnut with spectacular upholstery. Sofa measures 77" long. 33" deep and 33.5" tall at it's tallest point. Chair measures 30" wide, 30" deep and 33" tall. Both pieces need the seems sewed on the cushions unless you flip them. 1930's Baroque Style Couch Set Nicely carved all over with openwork on the back of the couch The frame is made of walnut and covered with a tapestry material The couch is 74" across and the chairs are 32" across. Each is 34" deep CONDITION: There is a chip on the inside of one arm as seen in photo and there is some light wear on the edges of the cushions as well as a little fade on the fabric. Absolutely gorgeous Duncan Phyfe style sofa with vivid blue upholstery in great condition. Bought in the 1930s. Smoke-free. Dimensions: w:83 1/2" D: 35" h: 31.5" to top, 16.5" to seat This is a truly beautiful piece. Very well-taken care of. We the grandchildren never could put our feet up on it, and always had to sit on it with a blanket on. Had I not young children of my own, this would definitely have been kept in the family. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SATIN IVORY SOFA/ COUCH W/ HAND CARVED ROSES
Available is an authentic antique Victorian full sized sofa couch. It has been fully restored and reupholstered by Amish craftsmen. The upholstery is a heavy rich creamy ivory/white brocade with a satin finish. The carved wood I believe is rosewood. The seat cushion is one single removable cushion. The couch hasn't been used since it was reupholstered and restored. There is one flaw- a chip to the top of one of the flowers on the top left hand side of the couch. Please see the last photo. Otherwise. The sofa is in excellent vintage condition and the upholstery is spotless.
