It is in good condition, with no holes or tears, but the knap of the velvet is worn almost ... moreoff in some areas. I am unsure of the exact age or origins of the sofa, but I do know that it dates to the late 1960s. It is finished in a pale golden yellow velvet that is almost a shimmery beige and has a classic tufted design that is coming back into style. The sofa does have a few small stains on it, as well as some staining from general use over the years. It has obviously been very well cared for. It does not include the throw pillows shown in the photo. It is an extra-long sofa, and measures 26” tall at the armrest, 32” tall, 22” deep at the seat, 14” high at the seat, 35” deep total, and is 116” long.

I'm selling an antique Duncan Phyfe sofa- a beautiful piece in good condition that would benefit from a reupholstery job. The material is an ivory floral pattern with sheen and the wood frame is dark with fanciful claw foot legs. Measurements(approximate) 75 inches long(arm to arm) 35 inches high(floor to highest curve on back of frame) 29 inches deep(cushion to frame) The photos depict the imperfections on the cushions. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique(late 19th century) Victorian chaise chair/sofa. This is a stunning piece that features an ornate. Carved wood frame and tall cane back. The chaise is quite large, measuring 6 feet in length. The seating area is covered in a beautiful fabric with French, Neoclassical pattern. There are 8 legs which feature block and turned wood. Arched, carved wood stretchers attach in between each leg on the long sides. There are stretcher supports that also run under the chaise, but these are not decorative. The chaise has been painted white(not sure if it is original) It is in good antique condition. The paint is chipping/peeling. The cane in intact with a small worn area in the center. As expected, It is not as taut as it once was but it is not loose and is still attached. The frame is good with some"wiggle" ... moredo to its age. The fabric is probably vintage as it is in very good condition with no rips, stains, etc. There is nail head trim which is also older. This is a gorgeous,old chaise with beautiful lines and aged charm. This style has been replicated many times by such designers as Aiden Gray. This is the original! This is a fabulous accent piece! As stated. The chaise is quite large and measures 6 feet in length. It is 21" wide at the back. The seat is 18" tall, 20.75" wide and 59" long. This is a beautiful and unusual Heywood Wakefield sofa. It was made around 1930. It is a black wicker highlighted with brown paint and black and brown upholstery. It is in very nice condition with only a couple of small pieces of broken wicker on the back and on the front on the bottom. There are also spots on the back that my cat used to sharpen his claws. The upholstery also has two tiny tears(see the last four pictures) It is 86" long and 37-1/2" high at the highest part. It comes with two matching pillows.

Beautiful antique 1920's cane sofa with matching chair and rocker. On bottom of sofa is old sticker marked Fox Manufacturing. Atlanta, GA.a little research showed that they were in business from 1919 until they went out of business during the Great Depression.so I believe this set was made during the 20's.the wood appears to be walnut.it is in fantastic condition and very sturdy, also very comfortable. The only damage I can find is a small 1/2" hole in the cane back of the sofa on the left side, see last pic, where the cane has broke but is still there, the finish is worn a little in that spot, also some veneer is missing on one back leg on the back side, see third pic from last.the chair and rocker are in excellent condition.the tapestry upholstery is newer, and very clean, no wear or tears in fabric, all tight and neat.I love ... morethis set! It would look fantastic in an old craftsmans home or on a covered porch! Beautiful 1920s Antique Cane-Back Sofa Couch Off-White ~ needs work
Beautiful Cane-Backed Sofa This sofa originally belonged to my great-grandparents in Northern Minnesota and has been passed down through the generations. It is probably from the 1920s. The wood is very dark. Probably mahogany, with normal wear/scuffing. Seat, back, and arm cushions are completely removable and were re-made approximately 15 years ago. The fabric is in very good condition, although it will need to be cleaned(there are a few spots) The right portion of the back's caning has a hole in it. Although with cushions in place it is unnoticeable if the sofa is against a wall. Although the rest of the caning seems solid, the sofa spent 10 years recently in Arizona, so the caning may be dry. The fabric is very beautiful and in good conditions. But I bought it to re upholster it. My idea is to change the wood finish to white(or natural color) And bright(Rosa Mexicano) pink! This is an absolutely beautiful yellow. Blue and white toile early 1900s sofa in almost perfect antique condition. The upholstery work is excellent. There is a water stain on the sofa"bed" under the left cushion but there is no damage to the cushion(or any of the fabric) at all. Approximate dimensions are 78" in length; 38" in height; 28" in depth. You will notice some pictures have a decorative carved wood piece on the center top of the sofa. This piece needs to be attached properly. I am leaving it the way it is because I don't want to cause any further damage. Antique French Sofa and Chair "Mississippi River Area" Beautiful Old Pair
Here is a beautiful pair of pieces that might be French in origin. Certainly falling in the French furniture category. These spent a lot of time in the Mississippi River area and came West upon the death of great grandparents. They have a unique pattern with upholstery on both the front and the back of the pieces. I believe they were made with walnut or pecan, but I'm not certain of that. The two of them have been refurbished with a fine quality upholstery. You can see the dimensions in the final photographs. They would be excellent for a parlor or sun room. They have some unique history behind them which I would be willing to share with you if you're curious. These would need to be picked up. They are located in Lower Lake, California, about an hours drive from Santa Rosa.
