There is a frayed area on the front bottom right corner of the bottom platform and there is some minor discoloration but it has not been steamed cleaned. Amazing refinished solid wood"Couch" I have had several people in the know look at this couch and it is believed that it is oak. It is surprisingly light for oak and it's size. Best guesses on the origin range from late 1800's- the style would have been conducive to accommodating hoop skirts to early 1900's- a large custom made piece possibly made for a lodge? It is extremely sturdy in its construction. The cushion shown was a custom made piece and has never been used. It has sat in the same plastic since I bought the piece. There is some dust on the cushion where the bag did not cover, should vacuum just fine. As for measurements. Here goes.
