There is one small area on the top of the right glove box where the finish is a bit worn, but with a little oil, this should clean up nicely. The chest has the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. There is a small sticker remnant on the mirror frame as well. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1900 and 1920. The chest has straight legs that taper slightly towards the bottom, with original casters.

Antique English Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers 19th Century
Antique English bow front regency chest of drawers with matched cross cut mahogany front. Pencil molding with turned mahogany pulls centered with etched mother of pearl inlay. The two over three dovetailed drawers rests on turned legs and a scalloped skirt. Dimensions are 47" in width, 20 1/4" in depth and 45" tall. This piece has a beautiful wood grain. Deep patina and original finish. The chest has appropriate signs of wear, some pencil molding is missing on the side of two of the drawers, some chipped veneer, and one of the pulls is missing the lower part of its turning. It is in great structual condition. All 3 drawers work well. It has no missing parts breaks or cracks. All drawers have there wood bottoms. It is very clean. It appears to have been refinished many years ago. The drawers are thick veneer over a solid secondary wood. The bottom drawer does have some cracking in the veneer but has been sealed when it was refinished. Also the bottom drawer has a small veneer chip and 2 places were the veneer has been patched with walnut veneer patches which just adds character to the chest. All the drawers have there locks but I do not have a key. The top of the chest is Walnut. The outside frame of the cabinet appears to be Chestnut. The sides ... moreare paneled Heart Pine. The drawers are thick veneered Satinwood. and the knobs are Walnut. This is an adorable chest with loads of character. It is also a great size measuring 28 1/2" tall by 32" wide by 15" deep. An antique Chest of Drawers made from Flame Mahogany. Circa 1900. We are pleased to present this unusual circa 1900 American Chest of Drawers for your consideration. Made of gorgeous Flame Mahogany. The chest has one full width drawer at the top. Two half-width drawers on the left are paired with a large compartment on the right, possibly originally intended for a chamber pot. The drawer pulls appear to be replacements, although the pull for the compartment, plus lock and escutcheon appear to be original. The Chest of Drawers measures 30 inches high. 40-3/4 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. There is a piece of thick glass that has been added, covering the top of the Chest. Wheels have been added to the feet, making the Chest a bit easier to move around. Dovetail joints are found on the Drawers. The piece is 46" wide, 22" deep, 52" high. It looks really heavy, so if you win this piece, bring several friends to help you move it. Now about the age, I'm guessing, and I know just enough to be totally wrong. The size makes me think it was made in the days when there were no closets. The heft makes me think of Empire or Gothic furniture, and the look and the knobs seem American to me. So my guess would be mid 1800s, maybe 1840-1870-but what do I know? You decide for yourself, and ignore my misleading guesses. All the drawer pulls match and there is a key for the biggest drawer. Condition: You will see normal wear and tear-light scratches and stains-and there is a small crack on the top. I see nothing major or unexpected for a piece this size and age. You'll love it! This nicely made 1860s-80s ash wood chest of drawers measures 12 ¼” tall x 13 1/8” x 7 ¼” deep and appears to have original. Untouched varnished surface overall. The top and each drawer are framed by red striping with sprays of flowers hand painted in the middle. Each drawer has sweet turned walnut knobs and all appear to be original. The sides have extra nice cuts and the back is of thin sawn pine. Construction overall is butt wire nail with glue and there are scattered old nail and glue repairs. Carved wooden knobs with mother of pearl inlay, lovely turned columns and legs, solid wood construction and overall wonderful condition for a mid-late 19th century piece. This chest was recently imported from the UK through Edinburgh, Scotland and was manufactured in either Victorian England or Scotland. Read all of this and look at all the photos. This little mahogany childs chest of drawers came out of a Boulder estate last week. All original. Nothing altered little chest is 10 1/16" back to front and 13 1/8" side to side, and 13 1/2" high, with the back splash 2 1/2" The alligator finish is irregular and has a water stain on the top. I didn't want to mess with it. This little gem looks like 1850 period and east coast origin. We do see things in Boulder from early Pennsylvania. Certainly no later than 1870. It has many hand cut small nails that have bled into the wood. The four drawers have been painted pink inside at a later period and measure app. 8 x 11 x 2 1/2. The lower left front rail is partially missing and the right back rail is missing. There is an old crack on the top. They really do not distract from ... morethe piece. The sides are slightly curved. The secondary wood is pine. Again. This is a wonderful little chest in unrestored condition that was likely made on a farm on the east coast 150 years ago. At the bottom, large and strong bracket feet provide lift and support to the entire chest of drawers. Each drawer of the chest is fashioned with a lock. Unfortunately, no key remains. There is a black mark on the third drawer down and a few small dings here and there. The right side has a square of different colored finish in the back near the top and a repair at the back of the top moulding. A very beautiful antique. Circa 1820, late Federal mahogany bow front gentleman's chest of drawers. The solid mahogany front corner posts legs are fluted and spooled, brass knobs on top drawers, four graduated drawers with original American spread eagle oval brass pulls. The stripped mahogany veneer drawer fronts have string inlay. Nice serpentine skirt around. Pine secondary woods. It measures 46-1/2" tall by 43" wide by 20-3/4" deep. Very good condition: original finish, some finish wear spots on top surfaces. Both side panels with shrinkage cracks, front left foot with crack glue repairs. Includes the key, brass keyholes, and all locks(oddly the lowest drawer never had a lock.

Absolutely stunning set of Eastlake Aesthetic bedroom furniture! They are oak and maple burl drawer front veneers. Edges have maple leaf relief carvings. These have ALL original pewter pulls and hardware and they are in amazing condition. There are a few specks of paint and dirt but no major problems with the finish. The commode is missing it's backsplash and the marble on the chest has a rough rear edge as well as a small very pale yellowish spot about 2 inches wide on the left side. ca. 1850 ANTIQUE BUREAU DRESSER CHEST
For your consideration we have a ca. 1850 American bureau. I purchased this about 12 years ago from an antique dealer who bought it from an elderly descendant of the original builder. May be made of chestnut. But I am not certain of this. Good condition overall, shows honest wear and patina, I believe the finish is original and untouched. Several scuffs and other marks, please refer to the images. Handles are original, small wheels were added to the bottom and are not original. All drawers open smoothly but one needs a little lift to close, I've chosen not to correct this to maintain its original charm. Includes a message, written in pencil, inside the top left drawer which reads"This bureau was made by Mary McClure Stafford's father a cabinet maker + he died when she was about 8 years old(about 1852) on the Mary Campbell farm ... moresouth of the river bridge" Measures 49"h x 22"d x 47"w.
