Antique East Lake Dresser marble top with 4 drawers
Here is an antique East Lake-style marble top dresser with 4 drawers from the late 1800s. Dark walnut solid wood. Drawer sides are dovetailed to fronts and backs. Eight drawer pulls all the same. Locks for each drawer but no key. Tan colored marble top. Sort of looks like ground up seashells or fossils. Cabinet measures 38-1/2 inches long, 18 inches deep and 30 inches tall including casters. Marble top measures 40-1/2 inches long, 19-1/2 inches wide and 13/16 inches thick. Total weight of cabinet and top is 120 lbs. Condition: Dresser is in very good condition. Wood joints are tight. There is a small wood repair showing in the last photo. About ½ inch diameter that is very dark near the center drawer lock.There is a small nick less than 1/8 inch deep in the edge of the marble top. All drawers slide well. This'figured' look adds a decorative look to the three large drawers in the middle. It has four smaller glove box type drawers. Two on each side of the mirror that sits on the top of it. Eastlake antique dresser with mirror & marble top 4 drawers
I wish I knew more about this dresser but I don't. I bought it at an estate sale& it really is in excellent condition. It has 4 drawers total. 2 top& bottom& then 2 smaller ones along the the top. The drawers move smooth& the mirror& marble are in excellent condition. The marble is a redish brown color. The top is all carved wood.
