I can tell that it's made of oak, the carving is very well executed, and the table is overall in very good condition. Size- it's diminutive. Just 24" in height, 21" wide at large side of oval, 18.5" at small side of oval. When closed, table is just 6.5" across, so closed size is 18" x 6.5" I believe that the table has it's original finish; I've kept the table in a quiet corner of the house. And have oiled it a couple of times(with orange oil) while in possession. There is a'patch' on one of the'leaves' where it split some time ago. The split is visible on the table top- but in my view does not take anything way. On the underside of the table two metal straps were added for support. Be sure to add me to your! This ANTIQUE LATE 1800's VICTORIAN DRESSSER is made from solid walnut and has been refinished. It has three large drawers with a fancy skirt around the bottom on four legs with rollers. Which roll very well. On top of this are two glove boxes on each side separated by white marble. The back holds the elegant curved and bevelled mirror housed in a walnut curved frame with applied wood decoration and a special decoration extending several inches above the top of the mirror frame. There are four original leaf carved handles which are not on the piece. The buyer would have the choice of putting on handles of his choice or matching the original handles with two more. As refinished this piece is in excellent condition except for the missing two original handles. The three drawers are 36 inches wide; it is 37 inches ... morefrom floor to marble. Antique Dutch Marquetry Highboy Marble Top Dresser Tallboy 1800s 19th Ships
WHAT YOU ARE BUYING/BIDDING ON One Antique Dutch Marquetry Highboy with Marble Top. DESCRIPTION This is a wonderful and interesting piece of Dutch marquetry. It has been repaired at some point and I don't believe the front legs are original to the piece which made somewhat hard to put an exact date on. The most of the interior wood surfaces seem to rough as if the it was hand planed. All the joinings on the back are chisel pegged(see photos) The dovetailing looks to be hand done but I could be mistaken(see photos) I would estimate this piece is from early 1800s. I have many more photos of this piece archived if you would like see any more detailing. This piece would be wonderful in a bedroom or in a entryway statement piece. Antique Maine pine dresser 1800s
Antique pine dresser from Maine. I was told its from the 1800s. Bought at auction in the early 90s. In great shape. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. Must pick up(94525) Will not ship. Back piece comes off for transport with screws and is easily transported. Height 82" Width 41 1/2" Depth 18 1/4"

1800s Antique Beveled Wall Mirror
This antique mirror was purchased over thirty five years ago in an Iowa farm auction. I believe the wood is oak. At the time it was painted over in white but removed once we knew how beautiful it was underneath. It's mirror is beveled, and shows the sign of age, bringing out the charm. It measures 30 1/2" tall and 22 1/4" wide.

Exquisite antique Louis XV marble top commode. The sides and front have been inlaid with beautiful geometric parquetry that sets off the beautiful curved shape of the commode. The corners and feet are accented with ornate metal decorations that match the dramatic drawer pulls and key surrounds. The drawers are have been constructed with sturdy dovetail joints and the piece also has a paneled back. This timeless piece most likely dates from the 19th or early 20th century. Overall the commode is in good antique condition. With some minor wear. There is damage to the veneers along the back legs, but it is difficult to see and one of the front legs looks like it may have been repaired near the bottom. See pictures. Antique 1800s hand Painted Flowers Miniature Chest Drawers Doll Dresser Jewelry
This nicely made 1860s-80s ash wood chest of drawers measures 12 ¼” tall x 13 1/8” x 7 ¼” deep and appears to have original. Untouched varnished surface overall. The top and each drawer are framed by red striping with sprays of flowers hand painted in the middle. Each drawer has sweet turned walnut knobs and all appear to be original. The sides have extra nice cuts and the back is of thin sawn pine. Construction overall is butt wire nail with glue and there are scattered old nail and glue repairs. Antique 1800s Dresser 19th Century Chest of Drawers Walnut Wood FREE SHIPPING
19th Century Chest of Drawers This is a fantastic piece of historical furniture. This is a chest of drawers or dresser from the early to mid 1800's. It appears to be constructed primarily of walnut wood. There are several distinguishing features that influence our opinion as to the date of this piece: The dresser was constructed with square-head nails. Which were used from the late 1700's to the late 1800's. It is constructed of solid-wood boards measuring up to 16" in width. Which could only have been made from very large trees long ago. The dovetails used to construct the front and back of the drawers are all hand-cut. The smallest drawer has 3 tails and 4 pins. And the larger drawers have up to 5 tails and 6 pins. The drawer bottoms are chamfered, meaning the front and side edges and the drawer bottoms are finished at ... morea slop. While the inside top of the drawer is flat. This was cut and finished by hand-held tools, which is an indication that it is pre-1840. All of the saw cuts in the wood appear to be parallel rather than circular. This indicates the use of mill saws during construction. The wood also appears to be hand-planed. The dresser features turned-wood pulls. Which we believe to be original. It also has paneled sides, which was a feature in many early Philidelphia chests of drawers. This piece is in good. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There is a significant crack in the drawer second from the top. It is still structurally sound. All of the drawers have locks, but we do not have the matching key. This piece has cracks, wear, chips, discoloration and repairs that are consistant with a piece of this age. The"flaws" only contribute to the primateive nature of this chest of drawers. They quietly tell the stories of its life. The dresser measures 45 7/8" tall by 42 5/8" wide by 20" deep. The drawer faces are all 36" wide. The height of the drawer faces from top to bottom are: 1st- 9 3/4" 2nd- 5 3/4" 3rd- 6 3/4"

Some talented woodcrafter made it and the bottoms of the drawers and the boards on the back are handhewn. It is walnut and even though some of the boards on the back have been replaced they are walnut also. The drawer runners have been replaced so that the drawers work easily. Other than than and the back. It is all orginal. The top has had some minor repair that is shown in two of the pictures. The piece has 4 drawers, top one extends out over the rest giving it a very elegant look. The top is 45" wide, 21 1/2" deep at the top drawer and 20" deep the rest of the way down. There are 4 drawers as you can see, roomy. I show a picture of the dovetails on the drawers, also the inside of one of the drawers with a knothole. There is ... morea picture of one end and the other end is the same, too dark in that area to take a picture. If you notice all the junk around the room, this is my warehouse so excuse the mess. Offered for sale is this 19th Century Victorian dresser and Mirror combo made from Oak. Walnut and Poplar. To the best of my knowledge it has not been refinished. The number"81" is stamped into the back of the mirror in two different places. I can find no other markings. Hidden drawer has at one time had the bottom replaced with newer thin plywood. It is only visible when pulled out and upside down. Dimensions are Width-39 Depth-20 Height-73* When unlatched. The mirror tilts forward and backward. Drawers all operate smoothly.
