Chest has very nice carved feet front and back with bowed top as well as bowed front. It measures approx 22" tall including swivel mirror. 12 1/4" wide at feet, and 9" deep at feet and has 2 small drawers at top and l larger drawer at bottom. Mirror is in fine condition. The small drawers each measure approx 5 3/8" x 4" x 2 1/2" deep. The one on the right has a smaller pull than the others but it appears to have been put on at the same time. Bottom drawer measures approx 9 3/8" x 8" x 3 3/8" deep. Bottom drawer has original lock(no key) and is lined with a silver color paper which appears to be very old. For sale is a 1950s 2 arm industrial Jielde multi angle articulated machine ... morelamp. The aluminium elbows have been polished. The lamp is in working order and comes with 2.4 metres of new flex but not the plug as it is a French one. It is in very good used condition with some very minor signs of use to the reflector's surface. The reflector has its original high temperature painted surface and still has the bulb wattage/voltage sticker intact. The switch is in the base. I have included the lamp's weighted vehicle brake disc base in the sale. These lamps are very sort after and nice examples like this are becoming difficult to find. The photos don't do it justice! The lamp takes a Standard Bayonet cap bulb(B22) which are available at all DIY outlets. Bulb not included. The maximum wattage is 150w. Jielde lamps were designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for direct mounting on machine tools and for use in workshops. The lamps have now become particularly fashionable for use in loft style apartments and in homes generally as desk lamp/floor or wall lamps. So, hence I have fitted a trailing flexible lead to make the light more useable in the home. I have displayed this light using a vehicle brake disc which provides a solid base to show a typical method of mounting the light. Heavy sprockets. Hardwood- anything heavy will do the job. The light can also be fixed to a wall if required using its mounting base/bracket which has 3 holes in it. Although the light isn't heavy, it will require a solid wall and sturdy fixings to mount it as the movement required to adjust the lamp to the desired position will put stress on the mounting. The desk comes with four raised panel dove tail drawers that retain all the original hardware. The center where the legs go have a reverse cove carving, which I have never seen in oak. It has a scallop bottom trim base, raised panels all the way around and a wide bevel edge on the solid tiger sawn oak top. The only negatives I see on the desk is that there is a little wear on the edge of the top from rubbing against something and there is a split going down the center of the top. We most likely could pull the top off and repair the top, which wouldn’t make a huge difference, but it is an expensive repair. The desk itself is high end quality.

Up for auction is a RARE ANTIQUE OAK SALESMAN'S SAMPLE Miniature EASTLAKE MIRRORED BUREAU/ DRESSER Circa 1870-1885. Includes antique oak ornate Eastlake style mirrored dresser with candle holders and lift up compartment on bureau. Ornate applied molding at top of fancy scrolled mirror frame. Mirror can tilt. Grid lines on drawer fronts are typical of Eastlake style of the late 19th century. Regarding wood color, it is a medium oak color(looks a bit more red/orange in the photos) Any dark areas are shadows and white areas are reflections. As you can see this is a wonderful piece and could be used in many places in a home, whether as a miniature Salesman's Sample or a doll bureau for dolls. As with most antiques, it has it's minor flaws, nothing to totally distract from it's beauty, or usability, aged wood has such character. It does have some chips, dings, and marks, and one missing drawer pull. Seems to be original finish but I am not sure. Could be improved with restoration but again that is your choice. Drawers work fair, no sticking. Mirror is in very good condition and has wide bevel, might be new, and is missing the wooden backing. One peg missing underneath mirror outer frame but other three hold it in place fine. For your consideration we have a ca. 1850 American bureau. I purchased this about 12 years ago from an antique dealer who bought it from an elderly descendant of the original builder. May be made of chestnut. But I am not certain of this. Good condition overall, shows honest wear and patina, I believe the finish is original and untouched. Several scuffs and other marks, please refer to the images. Handles are original, small wheels were added to the bottom and are not original. All drawers open smoothly but one needs a little lift to close, I've chosen not to correct this to maintain its original charm. Includes a message, written in pencil, inside the top left drawer which reads"This bureau was made by Mary McClure Stafford's father a cabinet maker + he died when she was about 8 years old(about 1852) on the Mary Campbell farm ... moresouth of the river bridge" Measures 49"h x 22"d x 47"w. Antique burled walnut dresser/sideboard/credenza/bureau. It has a white demilune beveled marble top and large center mirror. On either side of the mirror there are two curved cabinets with a shelf in each. Picture 10 shows a small piece of veneer at the top left that has come unglued and a couple of marks. There are three large graduated drawers. On the bottom of each side of the drawers there are two curved cabinets with a shelf in each. The four cabinet curved doors are finished on the inside. All the drawers and cabinets have locks. I have the key for the top left cabinet. The drawers have the original carved wood pulls. It stands 79" high. 48" wide, and 25" deep. The marble has no cracks. The piece is in fine condition.
