Just small surface scratches, if they bother you, you can wipe a bit of stain over them and they are gone. at any rate, a very well heavy made table of the high victorian era, all original including the casters. it is a nice size table, being 33 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. it has a wonderful finial on top of the stretcher. may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i have 30 or 40 tables in my house and need to get rid of a few plus a bunch of other things. i have the house almost impassable at this point. anyway, i am starting most of the things i am listing at less than i paid years ago for them. i have always tried to buy the nicest things i could afford, so you will find most of the things i have in good condition and quality. i will be listing more tables in time to come and also i have 9 bedroom sets upstairs, some of which i will be listing. i don't use any of the bedrooms and have them stacked full of all kinds of things.anyway, excuse the rambling. good luck

The top of this piece is glorious, a removable shapely rose marble top with an incredible thick solid piece of marble measuring 1 1/8" thick. It projects slightly over the edge of the conforming table frame, this with an overwhelming cyma-curve influence that allows void of the royal piece to outline the crown of a king. The central motif is a rocaille treatment surrounded by swirls of acanthus and foliage that drapes along the molded frame. Flanked by the pair of cabriole legs on either side that are locked in place with a decorative and functional stretcher embellished centermost with another deep shell formation. The frame is held together in the back with a single board that dovetails on either side. Another secondary board dovetailing across the center beneath the marble top to lock the frame in place. This is a gorgeous piece for an interior designer or anyone who appreciates the grandeur of fine Louis XV furnishings. Measurements: 58 1/2" wide x 28 1/8" deep x 39 3/4" high; marble top is 1 1/8" thick Condition Report: Some inpainting and restorations: chipping to front(repaired) Repaired crack in left leg, loss of gilt to top of right leg, bottom rocaille decoration has a repaired/replaced leaf and a chipped loss to another leaf, other scattered chips and dings. This splendid Victorian dresser offers beautiful raised panels of burl walnut on the mirror portion as well as on the drawer fronts. And the top of the mirror has a wonderful carved cartouche with walnut roundels accenting the top portion of the mirror. This lovely dresser measures a total height to the top of the pediment on the mirror of 91 inches( 7ft 6" The dresser width measures 42 1/4 inches, dresser depth measures 18 1/4 inches, and the height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 29 1/4 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 150 lbs. The mirror portion and the marble does lift off to allow easier transport and moving. We believe the mirror to be original and it measures 35 inches high by 19 inches wide and does show some light spotting that's age appropriate. The marble on the base is also original and is in wonderful antique condition with no chips or cracks. The dresser base offers three storage drawers each having the original brass Eastlake pulls and all the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. Antique Marble Top Dresser
This dresser has been in our family since at least the early 1900's. It is stamped Peter Canaris Furniture of Jersey City. NJ. The marble top measures 19" x 42" It is 33" high, not including the glove boxes. The two glove boxes measure 11" x 11" at the base and are 2.5" high. The fabric drawer liners were made by my grandmother and have some stains. The wood finish and the marble top are in good condition. We are downsizing and must part with some of family treasures.

Antique marble top tile back wash stand
This antique wash stand is 49 1/2" high. 30" wide and 17" deep. It dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s. It was purchased in rural Louisiana by my mother, antique shopper extraordinaire! This was near New Orleans. I found it to be a handy and attractive piece of furniture, once in a hallway and later in my guest room. The wash stand might be satinwood but I do not know the wood. It is not a heavy piece. The little shelves are handy for holding a small vase of flowers or other treasures; there is also a towel rod on one side. The one drawer is handy. The drawer does not slide like a modern drawer and there is a slit where wood is missing. I have tried to photograph all. You would need to come see it and pick it up in Charlotte. NC.

It has been repaired at some point and I don't believe the front legs are original to the piece which made somewhat hard to put an exact date on. The most of the interior wood surfaces seem to rough as if the it was hand planed. All the joinings on the back are chisel pegged(see photos) The dovetailing looks to be hand done but I could be mistaken(see photos) I would estimate this piece is from early 1800s. Antique Marble Top Dresser Chest Beveled Mirror Oak
Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers. There is a small area on the edge of glass where the mirror is worn; ... moreabout ¼" in diameter. There are some nicks and chips along the edge of the marble top. Regardless of any imperfections. Table height is 30" to the top of the marble and diameter of the top is 17" The"skirt" is dressed all around with bronze mounts. Antique East Lake Dresser marble top with 4 drawers
Here is an antique East Lake-style marble top dresser with 4 drawers from the late 1800s. Dark walnut solid wood. Drawer sides are dovetailed to fronts and backs. Eight drawer pulls all the same. Locks for each drawer but no key. Tan colored marble top. Sort of looks like ground up seashells or fossils. Cabinet measures 38-1/2 inches long, 18 inches deep and 30 inches tall including casters. Marble top measures 40-1/2 inches long, 19-1/2 inches wide and 13/16 inches thick. Total weight of cabinet and top is 120 lbs. Condition: Dresser is in very good condition. Wood joints are tight. There is a small wood repair showing in the last photo. About ½ inch diameter that is very dark near the center drawer lock.There is a small nick less than 1/8 inch deep in the edge of the marble top. All drawers slide well. This is a gorgeous solid black walnut with burl walnut applied trim Victorian age drop center dresser with a white and gray grain marble ... moretop that dates from the 1880s. It came in on a recent load. And was very clean. Someone probably refinished it a long time ago, and all we did was tighten it up, scuff it down and re-spray it to remove all the nicks and dings. It has a great look, a dark walnut stain finish, white and gray grain marble tops in really nice condition with minor stains and no cracks. It also has hand-cut dovetail drawers, big burl walnut panels on the front, and carved medallions in the center. It also has the old teardrop dresser knobs of ebony. The top of the dresser has what looks like the original mirror, along with the original candle shelves that was used to hold the oil lamps while gazing at your reflection. It also has all original carving and decoration on the back, and the top of the carved crest, the applied cutout carved trim, button medallions, applied burl panels and clamshell carved crest on top, all intact. It’s all ready to go in your home. It measures 44 inches wide, 17 inches deep, cabinet base is 32 inches up to the marble, 79 inches to the top of the mirror crest. Offering to you a beautiful. French, Napolean III style 5-drawer dresser with mirror and white marble top, circa 1870. Made of mahogany, of French origin. I purchased this item 10 years ago in San Francisco from an antique dealer for $6,500. It's beautiful and in great condition. The marble top has a few visible cracks but has been refurbished- the marble piece is moved as one whole piece. The mirror swivels and detaches with screws in the back. On right side of dresser there is a minor crack that runs along the panel but this was treated/refurbished before I purchased it. This is a dynamite piece. Here we have a very Rare Empire Dresser for your consideration. This is a very fine Wishbone Mirrored Dresser with side wig curio cabinets. These dressers have always been the Cadilac of Empire Dressers. But this one is one of the finest we have ever seen. The burled or Flame Mahogany is fantastic. The colors are just beautiful. We do not have the exact history. But the party we bought the dresser from, told us that this dresser was saved in Katrina from the Huricane in New Orleans. It was transported north and sold to raise money for the people who once owned it there. We bought it from the next party who purchased it. The dresser is of such fine quality, and has all original parts. The only thing it may need is some new screws in the back when the wig cabinets mount. At the moment it is all assembled and they were not needed. But when the ... moredresser comes to its new home, that is one addition we would suggest is new screws in the back area. The wood on every side is pristine on this piece. The only thing you would find is normal wear from a dresser of such a grand age. All that is needed is a nice polish and this piece is ready to set up and be displayed with pride. The dresser is 77" tall by 43" wide by 21" deep. The mirror attaches on each curio side with wooden screws and original knobs. The drawer fronts have the carving at the top and bottoms and the matched grain of the wood is outstanding. This piece could be by the famous cabinet maker Thomas Day. As even the sides of the dresser have fantastic matched graining. The hand made dove tails and brass locks, are all top notch and fine quality. The marble top inset is beautiful thick Italian Marble with nice grain and detail. There are no chips, nor cracks on the marble. It could use a polish from a marble professional. But the patina and wear only adds charactor to the piece. Antique Dresser All Oak. White Marble Excellent Condition Beveled Mirrors Offered is a beautiful oak dresser or vanity. The outstanding feature is the white marble top and it is in mint condition. This is remarkable considering it's age. The dresser has 3 parts- the mirror assembly. The marble mid-section, and the oak base cabinet. The mirror is attached with 2 wooden rear slats which extend to the base cabinet& screws that hold it rigid. The marble rests on the base. It is solid and sturdy. It stands evenly on the floor. The buyer can take this dresser home& use it, guaranteed to have a major effect on a room when it comes to decorating. Guaranteed antique- not a reproduction. This will retain value- about 100 years old, perhaps more. DESCRIPTION: The dresser has a 3section mirrored top consisting of a frame with arching top ... moremolding with a carved horizontal over 1/4 round fluted side columns. The center miror is stationary with side mirrors that are hinged& swing out almost 180 degrees. All mirrors have wide bevels. Excellent silvering without blemishes. The marble section is white with a thin grey lines from the stone. It is not composit or manufactured stone. It is clean, no chips, no repairs. The mirror rests on the rear of the top shelf which is over a marble galleried backsplash and opposing side sections. The flat top surface is clean& smooth white marble, all marble is matching and original to the piece. The base cabinet has 2 pull out drawers over 2 swing out doors which open to a large interior with a center horizontal shelf. The base has 1/4 round fluted columns which match the mirror and a center vertical with carving and a burled oval decoration. The pulls are brass, the locks work, a key is provided. The dresser is clean inside, the drawers are not stained, there are no odors, was not stored in a damp location(it's in our house) the drawers slide easily, locks work, this is a nice piece of furniture. The original finish is very well preserved on this European furniture. Waxed and buffed. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm honeyed patina. Antique Victorian Drop Center Marble Top Dresser w/ Pivot Mirror
A very cute little dresser brought up from Georgia to the Asheville NC area 20 years ago. Judging from the style and the candle shelves on either side. Late 19th Century. Features the original marble. Clean and unbroken, the original antique mirror, all of the original drawer pulls of figured brass, and the original casters. Original finish- has not been stripped. Stands about 80 inches high and 16 inches deep- it is a smallish piece and stands nice and shallow out from the wall- perfect for a small guest room or an accent to a large room. I'm not certain. But the wood is probably walnut. The five drawers all work just fine and have unusual'round peg dovetailing' construction(shown above in a detail shot) The hardware is ALL original EXCEPT that the bolts that originally held the pivoting mirror have been replaced by heavy screws. ... moreWhich doesn't affect the look of it too much(and they could be fairly inexpensively restored with something vintage) The mirror section is removable to facilitate moving. A very handsome piece. With minimal scratches and wear. The hand-carved details are a bit on the rustic side and not terribly fussy or'polished' workmanship. Almost folk arty. It is a solid piece and nice and usable still, with a decidedly'country' feel to it. The piece is actually quite light once the drawers are pulled out for transport and is not too heavy to lift at all. I love the carved details and personality of the thing! I do not want to ship it if I can help it- would prefer local sale. We live in Mars Hill. North Carolina, just 20 minutes from Asheville and easy directions to find us. I can help move it as well. Up for sale is this great Antique marble top dresser it stands over 7 feet tall with the mirror connected to it. It is about 43 inches wide and about 20 inches deep. It has a stunning mirror all complete and not broken. Its flaws are a crack in the marble top. The knobs are not original Although I do have one original so you can match them up if you search for them. Also one of the candle stands has a black cup type ring on it. Antique 3 Drawer Dresser: with Languedoc Marble Top & Grape Leaf Pulls.
This is an amazing three drawer dresser. Complete with marble top, grape leaf drawer pulls, and rolling casters for feet. The marble top is a languedoc stone that is found in France. It measures 48" x 22" x 1" The top is currently not mounted. This is how I discovered the piece and instead of re-mounting the marble. I would rather leave that option to the next owner. The body is made out of what I believe to be walnut. It measures 33 1/2" tall x 37 1/4" wide x 16 1/4" deep. The drawers are outlined in molding and have working locks(no key avail) Each drawer is garnished with two wooden grape/grape leaf drawer pulls. There are no obvious maker marks on the dresser. This bureau belonged to my grandmother. Unfortunately. I do not have space for it any longer. I believe this is"Victorian Eastlake" It is in very good original condition with original hardware. Sold as is. No one has painted, refinished or otherwise tampered with it. There was never a mirror from the time my grandmother acquired it. Local pick-up only! Dimensions are: 51 inches wide. 19 inches front to back and 33 inches at the tallest point. It is a large piece and heavy but the side sections with small drawers and the marble pieces come off for moving. Probably best to have a van or large-ish SUV to move it.

A very fine antique. Circa 1870's, carved walnut Renaissance/Neo Grec marble top pier mirror. There are incised lines with the original gilt decoration. Very imposing carved crest and finials, and base, with palmettes. The unit measures 9'4" 112" tall by 37" wide by 13-1/2" deep. The mirror measures 71" tall by 23-1/4" wide. Excellent condition: original finish, walnut without chips or crack. The original back support for the stand with mirror frame is missing, and replaced with plain wood boards. The marble is without cracks, chips, or stains. The mirror has no damage, two minor backing spots.
