It is in ... morereally nice condition. I am assuming that it was finished a long time ago as the finish is dull/worn down and mellow looking. A couple of coats of lacquer could be added to give it a more vibrant look if desired, but I personally like the mellow finish. The dresser has white and gray grained round corner marble top with the insert in the center, raised burl panels on the drawers, big circular buttons on the middle of the large drawers, Victorian tear drop pulls, candle shelves on the mirror, applied carvings, burl panels and a beautifully carved fancy crest. It has the original old mirror showing minor silver wear.

Antique Completely Restored Oak Hotel Washstand with Mirror Chest Dresser No Res
You are bidding on a hotel washstand that has been completely restored by a professional refinisher. It is in more or less perfect condition now. It is finished in a medium oak color with minwax provential stain. Finished with several coats of Sherwin Williams sand& sealer and two coats of Sherwin Williams top coat water proof lacquer. The entire piece of furniture has been sprayed and sealed good, including drawer bottoms, back and bottom of the piece. The solid brass has been cleaned and lightly polished with jewelers rough. The finish is hand-rubbed and it looks like it has just be waxed. The bevel mirror is original, has some distortation because of age. The towel bar including the bar itself is all original. The base comes apart from the towel bar and mirror for easy transport. As you can see the back looks just about as good as ... morethe front. Up for auction is a RARE ANTIQUE OAK SALESMAN'S SAMPLE Miniature EASTLAKE MIRRORED BUREAU/ DRESSER Circa 1870-1885. Includes antique oak ornate Eastlake style mirrored dresser with candle holders and lift up compartment on bureau. Ornate applied molding at top of fancy scrolled mirror frame. Mirror can tilt. Grid lines on drawer fronts are typical of Eastlake style of the late 19th century. Regarding wood color, it is a medium oak color(looks a bit more red/orange in the photos) Any dark areas are shadows and white areas are reflections. As you can see this is a wonderful piece and could be used in many places in a home, whether as a miniature Salesman's Sample or a doll bureau for dolls. Antique Marble Top Dresser Chest Beveled Mirror Oak
Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers. There is a small area on the edge of glass where the mirror is worn; ... moreabout ¼" in diameter. There are some nicks and chips along the edge of the marble top. Regardless of any imperfections. for sale a very nice antique quartersawn oak dresser with original beveled mirror and hardware. dresser is serpentine in the front which is a very desirable and somewhat rare feature. it has a great carved harp for the mirror which hopefully the pictures will show. it has abundant quartersawn flake on the top and all the drawers and dividers. the finish is overall in very good condition. There is a couple of dark spots where i expect someone laid a cigarette. the mirror has never been resilvered and is a bit smokey but is in good condition and quite functional. i would not have it redone as the smokey appearance just adds patina as far as i am concerned. the piece is quite heavy and very solid, no loose joints, wiggles, or wobbles. the drawer joints are dovetail, probably made about 1895-1905. it is a large dresser being 73 inches tall without ... morecasters, 48 inches wide, and 22.5 inches deep. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i can arrange shipping it that be of benefit to anyone. good luck.

for sale is a very nice serpentine quartersawn oak dresser with an intricate cut beveled mirror housed within its frame. to cut that mirror today with the bevel would cost a minimum of 800.00. at any rate this is a wonderful solid dresser with no issues to report other than the mirror is a bit smokey and has lost a wee bit of silver. it has great carving with much detail. the top is solid quartersawn oak of the highest quality. hardware is all original. the casters are new. the top is serpentine as well as the front. it is 50 inches wide at it widest point. 24 inches deep at the widest point. it is 82 inches tall being 36.5 inches to the top surface of the dresser. it has a claw type foot. i managed to dig this out of an upstairs bedroom set. i have included a few pictures of the bed. The piece has all it's original hardware with brass bail handles.The highboy dresser measures 74 inches high by 24 inches deep by 36 inches wide. The mirror is fine condition. Antique Tiger Oak Victorian Era c.1880 Round Shaving Mirror- On Tilting Frame- DESCRIPTION A handsome antique shaving mirror on tilting stand. Made entirely of solid tiger oak grained wood. The mirror frame, tilting arms, base and round ball feet all with beautiful graining visable. This one is from the late Victorian era circa 1880's. It's in original untouched condition, not refinished. It also retains the original mirror glass and backing for the round mirror. The round mirror frame is 1" wide and has a deep beveled edge. The two arms have knobs at the sides that can be loosened allowing you to tilt the framed mirror portion. Tightening the knob will then hold it in that fixed position. The arms have lovely turnings and are mortised through the wide shaped chamferred edge base. The base has four round ball feet. We've ... moreleft this as found. We have not polished or refinished the wood it is completly original. Shows good wear, but no splits or cracks or breaks in the wood. And we have not removed the original mirror glass from the frame. As expected with mirror glass of this age, it does show wear to the silvering. Of course, if you like, you could replace the mirror with contemporary mirror glass. We like it just the way it is. Showing it's good age. Size: 12-1/4" high overall- 15-3/4" long and 5-1/2" wide at the base- mirror frame measures 9-3/4" across CONDITION Very Good. The wood has not been refinished. NO RESERVE… This auction is for an old. Early 1900s folding Dresser or Travel Mirror. I am pretty sure there used to be a 3rd Mirror attached, but now only the two. Each of the oak frames measure approx. 9 1/2 inch by about 7 1/2 inch. Both of the mirrors are the original beveled edge with no cracks. There are some marks on the mirrors coming thru the backside. Shabby Chic 1890's Antique Oak Dresser
This 1890's quaint old oak wash stand with smaller side cabinet is a lucky find and a rare piece. The design is not typical and would not have been available if it were not for some condition issues which have been remedied. The back was cobbled together with braces(solid plywood now reinforces the structure) and the lower cabinet top was gone(new oak matching cap) The hardware is all original and in great shape. As are the drawer bodies. The lower cabinet originally was meant for a chamber pot and is in good shape for its age. Wash stands used to be a common bedroom fixture around the turn of the century before many houses had running water and indoor plumbing. This piece has been lovingly updated with a custom aged finish which will work easily with almost any decor. This piece measures 41"wide x 21"deep x 31"tall.

This is an Antique Late 1800's Victorian Natural Tone Oak Dresser with Original Brass Drawer Pulls and Key Locks/ Hardware. 44.5 inches wide x 33 inches tall x 19.5 inches deep. Has 4 dovetail drawers and metal caster wheels. Key to the locks is unavailable. The lower drawer bottom has been replaced. All drawers are opening and closing properly. Item is structurally sound for it's age. Caster wheels are all rolling. Top back right corner has a slight warp on the tabletop with separation and a small crack. Shouldn't be a problem for most. It's not noticeable when standing against a wall. Item was lightly sanded and clear varnished in the mid 1970's. Small top drawers are 18 inches wide x 5.5" tall. Circa 1800 Oak Mahogany banding No key Small piece missing from each top drawer Age gaps Very sturdy. Good condition, Old and beautiful are two words we throw around quite a bit in the antique furniture world and this dresser is both. Made during the reign of King George III in England sometime around 1800. This chest of drawers is a wonderful piece of history. The primary wood used is English oak which has grown so lovely over the last 200+ years. The cut of the oak was such that the grain that displays is intricate and gorgeous. ... moreAn inlay of mahogany compliments the oak around the top and drawer fronts. The mahogany banding is actually slightly darker than the oak giving quite a nice contrast. The front vertical corners of the chest were canted and a fluted column carved into them. This combined with the shapely ogee bracket feet provide the chest with some softening and keep it from looking too square and sharp. Very nice plate back brass handles adorn each drawer and the key holes on the larger drawers. Being over 200 years old there is surprising little wear to discuss on this dresser. There is no key and the bottom and second drawer down no longer have locks. Each drawer is fashioned with hand cut dovetails as you would expect and they open and close easily when you use the handles. The small top drawers each have a small piece missing from their lower outside corners(bottom left on the left drawer and bottom right on the right drawer) They are small but you will see them if you look closely in the pictures. This is a wonderful Victorian era child's dresser that came from a Victorian doll collection. Approx measurements: 41 1/2" tall by 24" wide by 11 1/2" deep. Overall condition is very good especially for age. There are a couple screws that do not appear to be original. For holding the mirror onto the dresser.
