Crackles, and other minor marks that surprisingly give the chest a rich, rustic charm that is hard to find. Structurally this dresser is in pristine shape, with the drawers opening and closing easily and the entire piece being quite sturdy. Each of the five drawers lock and keys are included. The beautiful flame mahogany is set off with satinwood inlays on the top and drawer fronts which, combined with the brass hardware, make this dresser quite an eye catching piece. Antique Mahogany Bow Front 4-Drawer Dresser / Chest - Mid 19th C
Beautiful antique chest of drawers in mahogany with a gentle sweep of a bow front. All original. Including its finish, as I hope you see in my close-ups. It features four nice deep drawers, perfect for storage, and has the dust panels between each level. The top pair drawers' inside measurements are 15 1/2" across by 5 1/2" tall, and are 15" to 17" deep, given the curvature of the front. The middle drawer's inside measurements are 32 1/4" across by 7" tall and 14 1/4" to 16 1/4" deep. The bottom drawer's inside measurements are the same as the middle except it is a little deeper at 7 1/2" tall. Overall. The measurements of the chest are 35 1/4" tall by 34 3/4" across by 16 1/4" to 19 3/4" deep. All four drawers work perfectly and have hand-done dovetail joints. Each ... moredrawer has original brass pulls and locks, though the key is missing. The finish is in great condition overall. I did my best to take accurate pictures of the style and quality. Antique Five Drawer Bow Front Chest of Drawers
This five drawer bow front chest of drawers measures 47 1/2" high. 33 1/2" wide, and 17" deep. I estimate the date of manufacture somewhere between 1890 and 1910. The pulls and key guards appear to be original but I cannot verify that for certain. The original brass drawer locks are still in place, but unfortunately we have no key. The front legs have an appliqué that is damaged on the right leg, but we have the pieces that fit. You will also notice that someone cared so much for this piece that the veneer on the top of the chest has been repaired. This is a delicate piece of furniture of light construction. The drawers appear to be made of birch and stained and shellacked. Also, there is some minor rippling of the veneer on the top of the chest, but I consider it minor but flaw enough to mention.

A very handsome antique Federal. Circa 1810, bow front mahogany chest of drawers. The front posts are carved as twist rope and reeded spool, the feet as cylinders. The drawer fronts are uniform flame mahogany veneer. The top is of two solid boards, the posts solid, the sides of veneer. It measures 40" tall by 41" wide by 18" deep at center. Very good plus condition: original finish, a few minor old veneer patches on skirt and some larger on lower sides. Old brasses and knobs are old replacements to originals. Top boards without wear, cracks or spots.

Victorian Golden Oak Bow Front 2 Over 2 Dresser With Carved Mirror
Beautiful Golden Oak Victorian Dresser with mirror. It's 40" wide. 20" deep and about 67" high with mirror. Very nice condition. There are 2 small dark spots on the top which can be seen in photo slightly. Dove tailed construction on the drawers and hand carving on the oval mirror. On the sides of one of the bottom drawers the dove tailing is slightly warped from age and split slightly but the drawer opens and closes smoothly with no effort and is solid. If anything the color is slightly more golden than in the photos. And it is on castors. Mirror is removed easily. This is pick up only. Thanks.

Selling a beautiful Early 1800's I believe. 4 Drawer Bow Front Mahogany Chest. The Chest is in very good and functional condition. There are a couple small bubbles in the veneer on the front of a couple drawers. The overall finish is in good condition with a couple faint marks on the top from a glass possibly. Not bad enough to take away from the finish in my opinion, but I did want to mention it. 200 yrs old you get these conditions. The drawers are early hand cut dovetails and the front ones are covered with a thin beeding around the drawer front. The pulls on the drawers are in nice shape, I don't know if they would be original, but they are clean and shiny. The drawer bottoms are made of one piece Chestnut, which was a wood very abundant in W. Virginia until a disease killed most of the trees in the early part of the century, ... moreI believe. It appears some of the drawer guides have been replaced or repaired and there are some newer screws on the underneath of the case used in repairs. The back board appears to be one piece of pine. Circa 1890 Flame mahogany See description for full condition report Deeper than most chests Bow front shape, This fabulous antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers displays a rich and entertaining selection of flame mahogany on the drawer fronts. Combined with the traditional bow front shape and brass plate back pulls. This is a great dresser that would dress up any room of the house! Being from the Victorian period. This antique dresser was made in England sometime around the year 1890. It is deeper than most bow fronts ... morewhich provides extra storage of larger items like blankets, towels, or sweaters. At the bottom splayed bracket feet and a shaped apron give the chest a little shape and elevation. The five drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetails. All drawers open and close nicely. As previously mentioned the wood is mahogany and the drawer fronts are a particularly nice looking flame mahogany. Satinwood string inlay and mahogany cross banding add a border that gives each drawer front depth. Rosewood banding adds some contrast around the top as well. Locks are present on all drawers but no key remains with the dresser. Overall this antique dresser is in very good condition. It does have its share of small marks and dings throughout as you will see in the pictures. These are present all over the chest. There is minor wood damage above each lock. The upper right drawer lock has a small repair over it. The front left foot has a repair as well. All of these are old and have been waxed over throughout the years. They now add character to an already antique piece of furniture. Overall this is a sturdy chest which continues to grow more beautiful as time passes. Don’t miss out on this wonderful

When she travelled by train, the shipping label was attached to the back as she moved from her home with her parents to a city where she would learn a trade or work in another home. The peice has large drawers accommadating lots of storage. A great peice to use when one wants a light colorful decorating scheme.
