Tightening brass hardware finials at mirror's, and what appears to be an ivory finial of which one is missing. The center pieces finial is pictured in images# 8 and 9. Needs to be replaced with glue perhaps. 2 drawer base with dovetail work at front and back. Very well made, very beautiful. Circa very early 1800's. Early 1800's American Architectural Tabernacle Mirror Frame c.1800/1840 with Hand Painted Floral Panel Gilded Wood- Original Mirror Glass DESCRIPTION A beautiful Country Sheraton Antique Tabernacle Frame with the old thin mirror glass. This handsome frame and original mirror is nearly 200 years old and still in beautiful condition. A lovely architectural frame. And very well proportioned. The slender columns are reeded and turned at the top and bottom. As typical of Country Sheraton frames this has plain corner blocks that were never decorated with rosettes. The wide projecting cornice has small ball drops above the hand painted floral panel. The frame retains the original finish, a mixture of water gilding and gold metallic paint that has a burnished finish. The glass is very thin and as expected on mirror glass of this period it does ... moreshows great signs of age overall. Quite charming to look at with the darkening of the silvering. An old thin wood backing is retained on the reverse. It has screw eyes and wire and is ready to hang. Size: 18-3/4" across the top x 27-1/2" high 4-1/2" deep at the top 15" across at the bottom Mirror sight size 19-3/4" x 11-1/2" CONDITION In excellent condition. Still strong and sturdy. This auction is for 5 brass chest knobs from the Sheraton style of 1785-1820. They all need some repair. They are 2.25” round and have a single post to insert into the chest. The posts are 1.5” long. The top part is square and then it becomes a screw. Antique Mahogany Sheraton-Empire Chest Of Drawers Circa 1830's-40 This very handsome antique mahogany Sheraton-empire chest has four large drawers with the glove drawers and nicely done back splat. It's in a beautiful caramel swirled colored mahogany. The brass pulls are new replacements, all the drawers are dovetailed with chamfered bottoms an slide in and out very smoothly. The chest is 43 1/2 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 51 inches at highest point at top of back splat and is in very good condition with no visible repairs and just a mere age crack on either side which is very common and hardly noticeable. A very unusual large and fancy Bonnet style chest. Circa 1820-1840. Cherry solids& veneers with poplar secondary woods. Has older label on back. That says it was brought to Anna Ill. Union Co, 1859, by C.E Kirkpatrick, ex. mayor of Anna. This label apparently was written in 1939. It is hard to make out the pencil writing, partially reads"recondition April 1939 by Headrick Bros. woodcraft shop, 421 N Sprigg st Cape Girardeau, MO. Girardeau MO. is only about 26 miles from Anna Ill. Cornwall Kirkpatrick was in the pottery business in Anna with his brother. Today Anna pottery is highly collectable. The Kirkpatrick brothers were originally from Ohio. No other provenance. A neat label with some history. 4 smaller drawers over 3 bow front drawers. All the drawers are hand cut dovetails. Top has a couple plugged areas, possibly to cover knots in wood. Picture# 9 shows close-up of column side, this column has a small repair. Picture# 11 shows 1 bowed drawer with bottom slide repair. This is the worst drawer, others are fair. Last picture shows inside case, some questionable boards to upper inside. They appear to have been replaced. A very finely made antique. Circa 1810, Federal, or Sheraton, flame mahogany veneered and solid mahogany secretary desk over chest of drawers. Two piece construction. The top section has two narrow drawers over two doors that open to two cubbyholes each with slots and two narrow drawers. Below is the chest, the top with a pull forward mahogany writing frame and original green felt. Below are four graduated drawers. It retains all the original brass knobs, locks, and brass escutcheons. The case is on four turned mahogany legs, solid mahogany case boards. It measures 56" tall by 41-1/2" wide by 20-1/2" deep, the writing frame 38" by 13" the felt surface 34" by 11-1/2" Very good plus condition: original finish, attractive butterflying of the flame veneers. Superb Antique Pennsylvania Cherry Early Sheraton Chest Of Drawers Circa 1810's Western to Central Southern PA circa 1810-1820 Once you look at this chest of drawers. You will notice the excellent craftsmanship! this chest is built like a brick loo-house! it is finely finished, and well executed. the ring turned quarter columns and feet. Are typical of south central/western PA(Franklin County area and west to Bedford) and Northern Maryland. This is undoubtedly the nicest Sheraton Chest we have ever handled! The entire case is dovetailed constructed. Of solid cherry, the 2 board sides are solid, same with the top, which is applied, over a white cedar/pine 4 board slat frame which is dovetailed into the case. the bottom board is dovetailed into the base, which is two boards of white cedar/pine. The drawers are cherry with white cedar/pine ... moresecondary woods. And unusually nice tongue and groove board bottom, which are hand chamfered into the base of the drawer case. the drawer bottoms and back are nailed on with square cut nails. the drawers are all cockbeaded around the edges in cherry. And have diamond inlaid escutcheons. the ring turned feet are mortised up into the bottom of the case. And then nailed into the sides. the prolific use of white cedar/and pine as a secondary wood in this chest is quite unusual. Some have suggested that this chest is of New England Origin. However, upon examining the construction details, it is deduced this chest is indeed of Pennsylvania or Nothern Maryland origin. We had a walnut chippendale desk a few years ago. That came out of the Gettysburg, PA area with the nearly identical usage of white cedar/pine and same ring turned quarter columns. we believe the glass knobs are replacements of much earlier brass knobs. they are however. Very nice, and undamaged by the years. the finish is 100% original and untouched. And has mellowed over time to a nice warm red colour. there are absolutely no repairs and or restorations to speak of. the back has a few new round head nails to help hold

Here is a very nice antique Sheraton dressing mirror. It is marked on inside bottom of drawer. I can make out: FROM CW BOTELER STORE 7th Street WASHINGTON D.C. I haven't been able to make out the words above STORE. It is in very good antique condition. Looks to me to be all original except it has been refinished at some point in time. Nice inlay banding around the mirror and around the front of case. This measures 14-1/8" long by 6-1/2" deep by 16-1/4" high to very top. Mirror part measures 12" x 9-3/4.
