And not dirty. They are just mighty aged. And have not been restored. So, authentic chic'n shabby, as shown. My intention. Was to strip and refinish. But that didn't happen. I kept these beds on hand for extra guests. Each has 2" wide Steel'L' shape brackets to hold a platform. And I just added a 3/4" thick strand board from Home Depot. Cut short for ease to 32" x 72" And these hold a ton. No prob. These beds come apart. 4 pieces each, and are easy to assemble by hand. I do not know that these size beds are called twin. I believe that they. Are a little longer and a bit narrower. These were made using Thick Wood. The Side Rails are 1.5" thick. And the footboards and headboards are 1.25" thick. Here are the measurements: The Headboard height is 47.75" 48" in height at the Center. The Footboard height is 32" from the ground to the top at the center. The Widths of these beds. The headboards and footboards, is 39" The Width at the center. From and including rail to rail, is about 36" These rails are 78" in length. This is a vintage item. It is in very good condition. But I would not expect the canvas seat to take to much abuse. It is solid. No worn spots rips or tears. Stitching is OK. Frame has a few paint flecs missing. 95% of the paint is still there. I have not seen a similar one listed anywhere.

A very nice Victorian era oak bent wood stick and ball vanity. Dressing, or decor two panel screen. This wonderful C1890's folding style screen still has its original varnish finish-which is in very fine condtion. All of the metal connectors, washers, and screws are solid brass. Many of the connectors are stamped with the folowing: Pat. Feb. 16'92(1892) This vanity or bedroom screen is in exceptional condition. No broken, missing, or damaged sticks, balls, or spindles. No cracks in the bentwood sections. The metal rods that hold the cloth for the panels appear to be all original. They have a round metal ball on each end that fits perfectly into a round hole on the vertical oak dowels. The screen can be positioned at almost any angle, and folds neatly in half if desired. The early oak stick& ball gem is about 40 1/2 inches tall. ... moreEach of the panels is about 15 3/4 inches wide. The mirror glass is clear. It has minor scuffs from us moving and age. The bed rails have marks on the finish and have a split on one. The set has castors on each piece. This lovely vintage Art Deco Japanese kyodai. Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts an adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Small drawers offer space for accessories or make-up and it can easily fit on a night stand, chest or work top making it an very useable and versatile piece. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no major damage. 60 year old Child's Solid Cherry Wood Dresser with Mirror Bench made
Offered for sale is a circa 1940-1950 bench made childs toy dresser or doll dresser. Nice diminutive size. Made of solid cherry wood. With an interior of pine. You can see the bottoms of the drawers have been chamfered, just like an original from the 1800s. An old piece of glass was added to the mirror. Which is a nice look. This is a beautiful. Elaborately inlaid Italian bombe commode made around 1950. It is profusely decorated with floral marquetry throughout. The top is also inlaid with flowers and the background wood appears to be walnut. There are bronze mounts. There is a small issue with the top in that a small spot had lifted and would have to be reglued. Also. There is some crazing throughout from age. Overall condition is very good. The resale value of this large piece is about $2000, but we are discounting it because the condition is not perfect.
