Antique Solid 1" Oak Lg.Mirror HARP w\Intact Gingerbread\43"Lx27"H Great Cond.
Tonight's Buy It Now Item is a Large Solid Oak One Inch Thick Fancy Mirror HARP w\ gingerbread which is all intact. Because of the largeness of the harp I took the 2 ends off from the center piece which will make it very easier to package and save on the shipping price significantly. I was hoping it would come apart easily and it couldn't have come off better. There are 2 dowels on each end and they slide right out with just a couple taps. Don't use a regular hammer. Either a rubber hammer or put a rag folded up between the wood and a regular hammer would be a better choice. When putting it together all you have to do is put a little glue on the dowels or put a couple brads in from the back where the dowels are. All the gingerbread is intact on it and the whole unit is in terrific condition. This oak mirror harp came from a beautiful ... morebeach house and the harp was in an old carriage shed on Lake George in the Adirondacks of New York where I picked it up several years ago. It's got a brown medium oak stain on it, which pretty much matches the original color. If you have any other questions about this oak harp, I'd be happy to answer your emails.
