Structurally sound, This rustic mahogany bow front chest of drawers was hand made in England sometime around 1990. In its lifetime this chest has sustained a multitude of indentations. Crackles, and other minor marks that surprisingly give the chest a rich, rustic charm that is hard to find. Structurally this dresser is in pristine shape, with the drawers opening and closing easily and the entire piece being quite sturdy. Each of the five drawers lock and keys are included. The beautiful flame mahogany is set off with satinwood inlays on the top and drawer fronts which, combined with the brass hardware, make this dresser quite an eye catching piece. Whether being used as a large bedside chest or in a hallway or entry way, this chest will be sure to give the area it's in a warm rustic appeal. Vintage bow front mahogany chest of drawers dresser. The sides are clean and beautiful. The bow front shape of this chest is marvelous. Satinwood banding makes a lovely contrast to the darker mahogany wood. We purchased some really interesting pieces from this collector as he is downsizing, and this antique oak dresser was refinished about 20-30 years ago, and we did a couple of touch ups. This fantastic oak dresser is in nice condition in a medium oak stain finish. It has two small concave front drawers on the top and a large bow front drawer in the base for plenty of storage. The Victorian dresser has cabriole carved columns coming down into a detail claw foot, panel sides, multi-molded rolled front above the drawers, carved yolks that hold up the mirror.

Federal bow front dresser from Western Massachusetts or Vermont. Previous appraisal puts it from 1800- 1810 and approximately $5000.00. A more recent estimate from one of the Keno brothers from the photo puts it in the neighborhood of $2000.00. Was in a family cottage on Lake Champlain. Which dated from 1890. The original patina is there.

Antique Tiger oak Bowfront 6 Drawer Dresser/Chest with Mirror

Contact me for payment methods to pay on pickup. This gorgeous antique tiger oak dresser was crafted by hand in 19th century England by master craftsman. When one looks at this dresser they are able to see the time and detail these craftsman put into this piece. The bowfront design is supported by the corners which turn into claw feet legs. The legs are wheeled which allows for easy movement. Two half drawers over four full drawers gives ample space for anything you need. The drawers also feature hand carved dovetails. The mirror attached to this dresser has a very antique feel to it. The few black marks on the mirror represent the age and era it comes from. ... moreDue to this dresser being over 100 years old it does have some wear. The red circle in picture number 2 highlights that part of the wooden handle broke and was put back together and works fine. On picture 8 the red circle highlights a very small piece of the carving on the mirror was chipped off and lost.
