Rare Architectural Antique Bookcase with Beveled Glass & Deep Drawers
This is a rare piece we collected years ago from Architectural Antiques. It features a beveled glass wood framed door(19.5"w 63.5"h) with the original key. There are 5 interior shelves measuring 22" wide and 13.75" deep allowing you to showcase both books and collectables. The spacing between the shelves is 12" high with the exception of the top-most shelf which allows for 15" items. On the right are 5 drawers measuring 10" wide by 11.5" high by 14" deep; each with original hardware. Layers of crown molding adorn the top(extending 4" on each side) and paneled sections line the sides. This piece is extremely heavy and mimics primitive pieces yet includes the more intricate features of the glass and molding making it a most versitale accessory. Arts Mission Bookcase. Excellent age related condition. Circa 1900. Two very large bookcases. Both being D 12 1/4. Base with drawer in great shape. And drawer opens and closes fine, as do the glass doors. Glass on both cases are wavy and old. But I can't attest to there originality. One of the glass doors has been extended at one point. Who. What, where, or why, I don't know. This is a solid wood series. Made with quartered and fumed oak. The pictures are very accurate in terms of condition and color of the wood. Which is darker then golden oak, with a reddish tint. The top piece does have a bit of lifting. But no splitting. Local pick-up. No shipping unless pre-arranged.

There are 3 stacking bookcase sections and the top and the bottom. The bottom has a drawer in the base. This bookcase is in very good original condition. Rare GUNN or MACEY Mother-of-Pearl and Brass Barrister Bookcase Knob- MOP 1900's
Offered here is a rare Brass and Mother of Pearl Bookcase Knob for a Gunn Sectional Bookcase. These were usually used on Gunn Mahogany Bookcases but I have also seen them used on Macey Mahogany Bookcases. I have three more of these which I will offer to the winning bidder with a buy-it-now if they want one or more of them.

Offered here are 4 matching rare 3/4 size Quartersawn Oak Globe Wernicke Mission style doors. Three of the doors have the original pyramid shape pulls. The other pull is broken. The doors have the original hanging hardware. The doors have nice original finish, they measure 9 3/4" x 23 3/4"

Rare GLOBE WERNICKE Sectional File Bookcase TOP 17 3/8" X 41 1/2" Barrister
Offered here is a Globe Wernicke Sectional File top. The metal band measures 17 3/8"long. Overall the top measures 18" x 41 1/2" The top has been stained and then refinished with 7 coats of Orange and Blonde shellac, 2 coats applied with brush and 5 additional applied with pad in a french polishing technique. It has some minor flaws but overall is in excellent condition and is ready to use. Please ask any questions before bidding.
