I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. Glass panes are wavy. Locks and keys work and the original finish is in extremely fine condition with minor mars at the edges. Waxed and buffed. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm antique patina. They are a true left and right pair. This bookcase has fanciful floral carved motifs on its doors and center of its case. It has very well done legs with a base center connecting stretcher. A top back gallery allowing for its top to be used as an additional housing for large books, two adjustable shelves and locks with keys. It is 41" long, 12 1/2" wide and 49" tall at its top and 51" at the top of its back gallery.
