The ... morelectern rack is missing the single piece of wood of bottom molding. The lectern opens and closes as desired. It has a gadroon edge. It is finished in a dark walnut stain. I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. The bottom of one of the sections has a crack and oval stain, which has no effect on the bookcase. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.

One of a Kind Hand Made Book/ Curios Shelf vintage charm at its best! naturally distressed has a generous amount of paint chipping. Marring, scratching etc. charm ++++! light cocoa brown paint over a creamy white paint. There is natural chipping and paint wear ~ a few minor gouges into the wood itself and paint"fading" and discoloration I have not touched the finish whatsoever other than cleaning I love the way it looks as is but you may want to sand down for an even more distressed look etc. It appears to only have those two paint colors over the bare wood It is put together with screws ~ the old"round bubble" type flat head screw(painted over) and the shelves themselves seem to be reclaimed wood(lumber scraps) from way back when ~ as each shelf is made up of 2 pieces"stapled" together with those old zig-zag ... moresawtooth type staples. They could possibly be glued also, I can't tell it is sturdy. There are four finials on each shelf; two on each side(two missing on bottom shelf) The finials are 3 3/4" tall and have a 1 1/8" diameter. Very nice looking all original early 1900's Macey 3 stack barristers bookcase. This one is in very good condition with all original wavy glass and great looking tiger oak. Dimensions are 57H X 34W X 14 D. A few minor imperfections such as the hole thru the back of one of the units.It won't be noticeable when you put books in in though and a small chip of wood missing out of the corner of the bottom unit. Also the base is a Globe Wernicke pull out drawer unit from the same time period which has been refinished.This has been given a light coat of Watco oil to bring out the patina and finish.Local pick up ONLY.Though I will deliver in the tri state area for an extra fee.Contact me for details.Pet and smoke free home. An antique bookcase of solid wood. Likely oak. 5 shelves including the base. The shelves can be removed and adjusted up and down. Total height- about 62.5 inches. Including decorative carved piece on top Width- about 39.5 inches Shelf depth- just under 10 inches There's a water ring on the top. And one of the pieces on the back can be shifted back and forth a little. It's sturdy and can hold a lot of weight(see picture) but it can be tilted back and forth on its base a little. This specimen post dates the Mission Oak American furniture movement which came about a decade later. This has the original William Morris English Arts& Crafts movement design. It is defined with three applied floral carved motifs on its top frieze and double stained. Leaded and textured glass doors. The case is made from very thick select cuts of solid tiger oak. It is in a very nice old well oxidized original finish. This finish takes on a reddish dark amber hew that is impossible to replicate. It is most desirable and absolutely critical with correct Arts& Crafts Furniture. When we usually encounter these ... moretypes of pieces they are almost always stripped and and redone in a golden oak finish. We are most pleased to find this in its original finish. It has four adjustable shelves, tapered squared off legs with locks and key. We did not receive this with a key but we will have one cut for it. Please forgive us, we noted in our pictures that we had the unfinished edge of the bottom shelf facing the wrong way.
