The pins are intact. Supporting three adjustable shelves. Wavy glass. Paper label and ink-stamped production number are on the back. There is a push button knob on the right door. And a clever roller latch/ throw bolt system at the top/bottom of both doors. When the right door is opened, the left is simultaneously released. When the right door is shut it forces the throw bolts on the left door to extend into the wood frame at the top and bottom, securing both doors shut. Size: 31.5" wide. 11.25" deep, 47.5" tall on casters. Model 340. Most examples of this form I've seen are 34" wide, this one is 31.5" Great size for fitting in many spots within the home. Push button handle and wavy glass. Two adjustable shelves w/ the 8 original metal shelf support pins. Very good condition. Oak is undamaged and in clean condition. Sturdy w/out any looseness. Very minor wear to the dark fumed finish. Of course there are some minor issues.there is a seam separation on the top. And a slight offset seam at the top of the right slab side panel. Looking at it from the back, the plywood panel is rough along the right edge w/ some chipping and missing veneer(touched up) Some glue blocks under the base were missing and have been replaced. I assume ... morethey did this so they would know which drawer went with which desk, and does not allude to who made the desk. I got this from my wife's uncles estate. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of a quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. Top of desk 36 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" deep and the desk top is 29 1/2" above the floor. Will ship via Greyhound Bus to a station of your choice for you to pick up. It measures 45 1/2" long and it is 15 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" deep and has two grooves for displaying plates. It is in excellent vintage condition. Old Arts&Crafts Mission Oak Small Bookcase, thru slab with pegs
Up for auction today is this old Arts&Crafts Mission Oak bookcase. It measures 33 1/2" in height by 27" in total width. It measures 13 1/4" at the foot by 9" at the rounded top. The shelves go through the sides and are pegged with tapered half round pegs. There are no makers marks that I have found. This has an old varnish finish but I don't know about being original. I think not.The siderails are a full 1 1/8" thick. The top shelf is 8 15/16" deep, center is 9 3/4" deep and the bottom is11 1/8" deep with a small bumper board on the back edge. There are the normal nicks and dings and scratches from use and there are 2 splintered off areas on the siderails, see picture6&9. There is also some splintering at the feet see picture 8. There is a slight darkening at the feet as you would get from ... moremopping the floor around it. The white that you see in picture 4 is from the varnish being scraped. This is disassembled as you see in picture 10 and will be shipped that way.This is not mint but old. If you have any questions please ask. This auction is for a beautiful bookcase in the Arts and Crafts style. This particular unit stands 45-1/4" tall by 15" wide by 10-7/8" deep at top and tapering to 13-1/8" deep at the bottom with five shelves. The 3 top are 7-1/4" tall and the 2 bottom are 8-1/2" tall. The bookcase weigh 27 lbs 4 oz. and was manufactured from beautiful quarterswan oak joined with wood pegs. There are a few nicks and chips from normal use on a piece that maybe over a century old. This exceptionally rare piece is sure to be a grand addition to ones home or office.

A very fine antique. Circa 1905, Globe-Wernicke quartersawn oak five stack bookcase, with the bottom drawer section and the top cap. The stack interiors are maple. All oak doors retain their original wavy glass, and square brass knobs. Original brass pulls to drawer. The barrister type bookcase measures 6'1" 73" tall by 2'10" 34-1/2" wide by 11" deep, each stack 12" tall. Paper labels to interior read: size D 10-1/4, grade 299-1/2. Excellent condition: original finish, quartersawn oak boards without chips or cracks. All glass panels are without damage. Brass knobs and drawer pulls with dark patina.

Just acquired out of a private Midwest estate we are able to offer this exceptionally nice. Circa 1900-1910 ~ SOLID QUARTER SAWN GOLDEN OAK REVOLVING BOOKCASE WITH A TWO TIER TABLE TOP SHELF ~. This fine quality revolving bookcase is quite unique and has a wonderful look as you will see. It has a very unique, handy two tier shelf top and many different compartments for the storage of books. There are individual celluloid numbers below the book shelves to help you locate your desired reference book. The numbers go up to 34 and it looks like there may have been 35 and 36 as well but they are not there. It measures 43 1/2 inches tall by about 26 inches square. The sections to store the books measure about 13 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches deep by 14 1/2 inches wide" some of them are only 11 1/2 inches wide" We have never seen another ... moreone like it, and i9magine it is a fairly hard to find, desirable example. The over all condition is pretty nice with some expected wear from age and use. All in all, it was actually very well cared for over the past 100 years or so. There are some small separations between the some of the boards on the two top shelves. It is very sturdy and is in ready to use condition. We left this bookcase exactly as it was when discovered in the estate and did not do a thing to it. It has been is storage for quite some time. It revolves just fine and rolls on the castor wheels very nice as well. I believe that the finish is original and it is actually quite nice with a rich warm patina. If you have been looking for a really nice and very unique revolving bookcase, this one here may be just the one you have been waiting for. This design features an over-hanging top with arched aprons above five shelves, and it has paneled splayed-leg sides w/ arches at the bottom. Looks and feels like it is the original finish(w/ top overcoated) Signed with red decal. Quartersawn oak throughout. Original bevels to bottoms of posts and original floor glides. Size: 22"w x 13"d x 42"h. Very heavy.weighs in at 40 lbs. Very fine condition. Solidly built. On the underside of the top. It is signed w/ the 1" tall red decal showing a joiner's compass around the words"Als Ik Kan" with"Stickley" in script below, all enclosed in a rectangle. This dates the manufacture to 1902-04. Note: splays 2" wider at the base on each side. For some reason. In the photos, you can't ... moretell it splays out but it is obvious when viewed in person and really adds a lot of style to the form. All sides are photographed. Magnificent Antique Arts& Crafts 1910 Era Mission Oak Bookcase Tall Case Clock. Essentially a Mission oak bookcase with a clock top. The bookcase has 4 shelves. Overall it measures 16 1/2" wide. 10 1/2" deep and 67 1/2" to the top of the frame itself but add another 3 1/2" for the finial piece so it is about 71" high in total. It comes with the original pendulum and it is a time& strike chiming clock. I did not take it apart to check the clock name but I had a Sessions clock years ago that was similar(that one used a glass door bookcase) or it could be New Haven or similar Connecticut maker. Classic Mission slat sides- both sides and back. The top still retains the board that allows access to the movement. The only thing missing was the key but I had an extra brass number 6 size key that fits perfectly. The ... moremovement will run four a bit and stop, I am sure it just needs to be cleaned and oiled as the winding arbor springs feel fine when I tested both. A truly rare unique magnificent piece of genuine Mission oak- Stickley Limbert 1910 era. Fine clean solid sturdy condition- check my photos. The dark finish to the oak is fine and original.
