I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. The bottom of one of the sections has a crack and oval stain, which has no effect on the bookcase. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.

Super finish which is smooth and even. The interior height of the units is 13.5. 11.5, and two which are 9.5. The overall size of the piece is 34 wide, 12 deep, and 57.5 high. Knob width at the TOP DIAMETER is 1 3/16" TOTAL KNOB HEIGHT is 7/8" BASE WIDTH IS 1/2" These are the correct size and profile for the drawer bases for Globe Wernicke® and Macey stack units(although they work great for Gunn, Lundstrum, Weis, Danner and others as well) There were at least 8 different styles of knobs. This style was the most prominent and the best made of the 4 cast versions. It is made of polished brass and then aged to match your original knobs. The aging and burnish process takes a 5 step process and can be hazardous to perform. The aging/burnishing is done at essentially cost. See our ad for Aging Solution. Making it easy to transport and reassemble, even for one person. The piece is in fair condition; the wood shows signs of light wear. One of the doors sags a little when slid into the frame, two of the pulls need repair, and a couple of the dowels that hold the levels together are missing. From an estate sale. A 5-section barriester bookcase with base and top. The top 3 sections are regular bookcases, the bottom two sections each have 3 file cabinet drawers. Patent date 1917. Overall outside dimensions are 41.5" wide, 17" deep, and 79" tall. The inside dimensions of the bookcase shelf: 15.5" between the back and the back face of the door, 40" wide, and 10" tall to the bottom of the door when it is rolled up- that is, the*useful* height that you could fit a book in. I did some google research and couldn't find a standard size the corresponded to these dimensions. So they may be a custom unit. Very deep, but pretty short. There's nail holes on the fronts of the file drawers, looks like they used to have handles, and probably also brass frames for putting a label in. So you might want to replace ... morethose. Thanks for looking at this antique bookcase that I found at an estate sale. I believe it was made for an Atwater Kent model 10A breadboard that I currently have listed. But it is a neat old bookcase or display case and you could use it for something other than a radio-obviously. There are two small holes drilled in either end of the back of the case- for the radio cords. I will package and ship this bookcase very securely because of the glass front. Antique Vintage Large Wooden Grain Bin Great Condition Original Hardware & Wood
This is a great large antique Wooden Grain Bin that we have had in our 1845 farmhouse for a long time. I know don't know the history but it is in wonderful condition and we have used it as a clothes hamper. The wood and the original hardware are in very good condition. Very solid, with no cracks or defects. A few minor scratches but it does not take away from its very nice appearance. Not sure of age but it is quite old and I would guess early 1900's. It is completely original and has not had anything done to it except for a good cleaning and wood polishing. It measures 34 1/2" wide, 36" high and 21" deep. The lid is firmly secured by two large brackets that are also original. We are finally downsizing and selling our farmhouse. We live 100 miles form Milwaukee. This Victorian oak bookcase is made of four sections. Each stacks on top of one another and locks in for a strong fit. This bookcase was made from solid American oak and measures 59 inches high, 34 and one half inches wide, 9 and one have inches deep at three sections and 14 and one half inches deep at the bottom section. From an estate. 4 shelf solid oak book case as shown. All joints are doweled and as a bonus. None are glued so that the entire unit comes apart for lower shipping cost(yay) Easy re-assembly with a rubber mallet or a hammer and a block of wood. I'll have each piece numbered to help. Antique/Vintage 4 piece stackable bookcase bookshelves by Gunn -Project bookcase
This book case it stamped in two sections that it was made by Gunn. Also. On the back of the top piece is a paper label, stating trademark in Grand Rapids Michigan. This bookcase has cast iron metal pieces in between each section. This bookcase overall is in good condition. I am calling it a project because the two bottom glass on the door is cracked. Both of the bottom sections are bigger than the top two. Also there is light finish defects such as on the shelves& the legs. Most people would probably refinish it.
