Knob width at the TOP DIAMETER is 1 3/16" TOTAL KNOB HEIGHT is 7/8" BASE WIDTH IS 1/2" These are the correct size and profile for the drawer bases for Globe Wernicke® and Macey stack units(although they work great for Gunn, Lundstrum, Weis, Danner and others as well) There were at least 8 different styles of knobs. This style was the most prominent and the best made of the 4 cast versions. It is made of polished brass and then aged to match your original knobs. The aging and burnish process takes a 5 step process and can be hazardous to perform. The aging/burnishing is done at essentially cost. See our ad for Aging Solution. Nice original Globe W ernicke book case section. Very solid condition. Needs some refinishin g as can be seen in the p hoto s. E specially the inside botto m. The label is marked 3313-B. G. D-14. Slides well. Glass is intact. Measure s 33" L x 13" W x 14. 7 5" H. The peg holes are 30.5" from outside ring to outside ring. Has some sticker residue in the upper corn er that can easily be removed.I just didn't want to ruin the wood by attempting it.

Cincinnati Made in U.S.A. Four wooden ball feet have been added to the underside of this piece. It can stand alone and does not need to be stacked with other sections. It could go on the top of a dresser, desk, bed, etc. It has a nice glass sliding door with a brass knob, and a stunning oak woodgrain. It m easures 33" long. 13" wide and stands 14" tall(with the feet) This Globe Wernicke oak bookcase section is in excellent condition with no real damage. There is a natural age fissure in the top of one panel(See ... morelast photo; does not detract in the least) Even the back of this piece is in great shape. These are 2 Globe Wernicke barrister bookcase sections ma de by Lycoming Furniture Co. A division of G lobe Wernicke. Each is the st andard 33" L x 13" W size wit h the height being just shy of 15" and 17" Both are structu rally sturdy but do need some refinishing work. The scratches you see on the inside are smooth and not deep gauges. Nei ther have knobs. The glass is intact. I'm not sure why the back s are diffe rent colors. the rest of them match. We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique barrister bookcase. This is made by the Globe Wernicke Company. There is a sticker on the back wall of two of the sections. that reads D10 1/4 299. The top section meausres 13" high to the glass door opening. The next two sections measure 10.5" to the top of the glass door opening and the bottom section measures 10.2" to the top with the glass door open. The assembled piece measures 61.25" high and has a width of 34" and an overall depth of 12" The depth of the main body is 11" This is the standard style with plain glass doors made from quarter sawn oak and oak veneers. This has the original brass hardware. There are some light age and use appropriate scratches and dings. There are paint specks on this. A gouge in the wood on one side and there is an area onthe ... moretop that the veneer is coming loose. There is a piece of sticky tape from a hook on the right side at the top of this. We will leave this fo rhte new owner to remove as we do not know if it will damage the finish or not. This can be seen slightly in the picture of the side view. Up for Sale A sturdy. Vintage Globe-Wernicke Co. Mission style Barrister Bookcase from the early 1900's that has been in my family for years. It has three glass doored sections for books(the top section is 8 1/2" high. The middle section is 10 1/4" high. And the bottom section is 12 1/4" high according to the original labels.please see photos provided) The outside dimension of the bookcase is 51"s high. 11 1/4"s deep, and 34"s wide. The glass and the metal mechanism that opens the windowed bookcase sections is all original and in working order. The base has feet. Scissor Arm Mechanism Listing is for one scissor arm. Check quantity for remaining stock. These are a little shorter than standard and will work in 3/4 width Globe Wernicke sections. Some have the 1905 patent date stamp and some do not. A couple have earlier square end. The other five have the ends with rounded edges. Price is for 1(one) scissor arm. Dimensions: 23" long. Condition: Some have minor bends that will easily flatten back straight. VERY dirty! I dug out all my scissor arms to list. I laid them on the porch and a blowing storm got them wet causing surface rust. I sprayed them with WD-40 and wiped them down. Antique Globe wernicke Barrister stacking unit. 34 inches wide. 11 inches deep. The section has no breals, splits or repairs. I=The section has all the door hardware and scissor mechanism ans opens with ease. The door has the original brass knob. The section also has the original antique wavy glass and bands around the base of the section. The back is in excellent condition with no rippling or warping of the wood. It fits with all globe D sizes and macey sections. Reaal nice dark quartersawn oak finish. No surprises. I would prefer local pick up but would look into shipping.
