Vintage Oak Lawyers Stacking Bookcase Door Glass and Hardware GRM Grand Rapids I sold a vintage mission lawyers bookcase awhile back and the bottom section had been damaged so I sold only the remaining sections. This is the door and hardware that was removed from the bottom unit. It is the glass door that hooks on the sides of the bookcase unit with the hardware for the sides of the bookcase itself. The bookcase it was removed from was oak so this also should be oak. The glass is in perfect condition. No chips or cracks. The knob is not original. The door is in wonderful condition and has the hooks attached on the sides as shown. It measures 32 3/8' X 13½' X 13/16' I did notice that this door is higher than the other ones were and it was on a bottom unit. I'm not sure if all the screws are there but that's what we ... morehad to remove but a screw or two is not hard to find. Some of the parts have some minor surface rust which should clean up easily. Antique Vintage Large Wooden Grain Bin Great Condition Original Hardware & Wood
This is a great large antique Wooden Grain Bin that we have had in our 1845 farmhouse for a long time. I know don't know the history but it is in wonderful condition and we have used it as a clothes hamper. The wood and the original hardware are in very good condition. Very solid, with no cracks or defects. A few minor scratches but it does not take away from its very nice appearance. Not sure of age but it is quite old and I would guess early 1900's. It is completely original and has not had anything done to it except for a good cleaning and wood polishing. It measures 34 1/2" wide, 36" high and 21" deep. The lid is firmly secured by two large brackets that are also original. We are finally downsizing and selling our farmhouse. We live 100 miles form Milwaukee. Up for auction is an Original Globe Wernicke Barrister Bookcase door with knob. Original scissor door mechanism, original door tracts, and original door roller assembly. Everything listed was off of a Globe Wernicke Sectional Bookcase C-11 Unit; Pattern 111- Grade 198. According to the Globe-Wernicke USA website the grade of 198 is a plain oak with an antique, medium-dark gloss finish with copper oxidized hardware. The glass appears to be original as it is wavy with air bubbles/flaws. There are two small scratches in the front right corner glass which can be seen in the photographs. Offered here is a PAIR of reproduction Gunn Bookcase shelf brackets for the regular size Gunn sectional bookcase sections in TWO different styles either the regular or mission style. These were originally made of cast iron but sometime in the evolution of Gunn bookcases the company decided to go away from cast iron and had them made of stamped steel instead. Probably due to cost and breakage of the brittle cast iron. As there is and was no commercially made reproductions of this part, I decided to have them done myself at considerable expense about 10 years ago. I have found when I find this brand of bookcases at auction they are often sold disassembled with parts missing or broken. I have a limited number of these parts in the regular and mission style to sell on eBay and when they are gone they will no longer be available.
