Hardware: The original hardware holes were plugged at some point and new hardware holes were made just a little lower. The doors are currently not equipped with any hardware. However. Large Vintage Antique Remington Rand 4 Hour Fire Safe Retracting Double Doors
Hi. Very vintage,large 4 hour fire safe by Remington Rand. Yes I have the combination and the locks work great. Pic 2 is the top front and is the basic nametag. Locks are made by Yale, all brass. Pics 5 and 7 show the access plates, I don't think they have ever been opened. Pic 4 shows the 4 hour rating with model and serial numbers. I can't find a year of manufacture though. Pic 6 shows the left door and panel. The small latch holds the panel shut. When you push this down, while the door is open, it swings the entire door out on the panel, as in pic 7, and then can be rolled into the side compartment and out of the way. Both doors do this. They have rollers to move and rest on. Takes the weight off the hinges and gets the doors out of the way so you can work. This is pic 8. In pic 9 it shows the bottom hinge on the right door needs ... moreto be welded. It still works great, but this should be done. Someone tried brazing it, created the rust spot on the outside, and it didn't take. I've had this for 19 years and have never had a problem using it in this condition. Pic 10 shows the three antique file drawers that all work and have no dings, dents or twists. The entire unit is removable as well. The two shelves are very adjustable in no more than an inch increments. Adjustable from the bottom to the top. They slide into grooves. Caster style wheels! Pic 11. All four wheels rotate a full 360 degrees so you can push this in any direction. Pic 12 is closed. Weight is a guess around a ton. Outside measurements are 62 1/2 inches long, 47 1/2 high and 32 1/2 deep. The interior measurements are 36 inches wide, 31 1/2 high and 19 1/2 deep. Length is so the doors can slide into the sides. Vintage Womans Wood Jewelry Box/Chest W/Double Glass Doors And Mirrored Back
1960's jewelry chest features double glass and wood doors on hinges with magnetic close. A necklace claw and two shelves, and a mirrored back wall in the necklace compartment. It is a good solid peice of furniture, as it weighs 3llbs 9oz. Height is 8 1/2 in. Width is 8 in. Inside is 31/2 in. deep Total outside depth is 5 3/8 in. The chest is in good condition but a peice of the hardware under the left door is missing. It has a scratch on the top and a couple of fine scratches on other locations. Each door is made of solid chestnut and has 1 half-length window with 2 horizontal, recessed panels underneath. Also note that chestnut is a rare and valuable wood; it’s not commercially available due to the blight introduced between 1900& 1908. Which made the North American chestnut trees virtually extinct by 1940. Hardware: Besides 1 flushbolt. The doors are not equipped with hardware. However. Since then. We've stripped the paint and sanded the doors. We took the lites to the local stained glass repair shop that we've been going to for years"Kasmark& Marshall" in Luzerne. PA, and they completely reworked them! They took out all of the glass from the lites and separated the old pieces from the new. They replaced all of the new pieces, with old pieces(many of which are no longer commercially available) and then encased them in a new, leaded skeleton. The work took weeks and cost over $900! Condition: The doors are strong. Sturdy, and in great structural shape! There are a few cosmetic blemishes(character marks) including some chips in the inner corners; there is a long, but shallow crack in the lower portion of the hinge stile on one of the doors; the molding around the glass was cut to accommodate the support bars of the lites; and there are 2 slivers of wood under one

The transom has a coordinating panel of stained glass with 4 jewels. The doors measure 43.25 wide together. The transom being 43. The doors are 89.25 inches tall. The transom is 15.75 tall. The doors are just under 2 inches thick and the transom is 1.75. Overall they are in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. Each door is made of solid cypress, and features 1 half-length glass lite and 2 raised panels. Cypress is the wood of the South because of its rot-resistant quality. It's a soft wood. But it is quite durable. Stripping: At the point of salvage. The doors were completely covered under many layers of paint. Since then, we've stripped the paint and sanded the doors. It is entirely made of kiri wood(paulownia) which is prized for it's vermine and humidity repellent properties and relative light weight which is why it has been used for centuries for kimono and clothing tansu. Kiri has a beautifully stripy grain that goes from a very light shade when new to a dark honey when aged for nearly a century like this tansu. Drammatic double doors open to reveal a roomy compartment housing 5 kimono or clothing storage trays. The grain of the wood is ... moreused vertically for the center of the doors and horizontally for their frames to create a decorative pattern of contrasting stripes that catches the light to form a geometric design. Antique China Cabinet double doors w/keys
Beautiful Condition.Slight wear.Legs have to be tightened. We came across this item at an Estate Sale. It has double doors in front(we have keys) the sides are rounded glass. Four glass shelves in interior. It does have lights that were probably added. Only one large circular hole in back with wires running thru. We are not sure of the wood. It does have some knots so we are assuming pine. I did try to take pictured of all angles. It measures 54" wide and 57" high. The numbers shown are on the back and I was not sure if it had any meaning. All hardware looks original. We have no knowledge of Antiques. So please look over carefully. Nice oak bookcase. 4 oak frame sliding doors. 4 adjustable wood( oak? shelves. Built like the lawyer stacking style bookcase. Has a decorative top section then the top 2 door section and then the base 2 door section. So it is a 3 part bookcase making it transportable by most mid size cars. Maybe some smaller ones too. Original finish in good shape. Does have some chips and scratches that a little tlc would improve on but very usable as is. There is a crack in one glass. Will replace as part of the sale price. Bookcase size is 37 inches wide by 57 1/2 inches tall and 14 inches deep at the base. Break down size is the base is 30 1/2 inches tall 37w 14d. Top 2 door section 24 inches tall. Top trim frame 3 inches tall. Should be easy to transport. I am easy to find right next to I-94 at Sturtevant. Close for both Milwaukee and Chicago. Here is a wood Jewelry Armoire/ Chest. Stands 11" high. Length is 8 3/4" and width is 5" Two etched glass doors with a floral design. Inside the one there is a rotating necklace hanger, 2 compartments and mirrored back. The other one has 9 long ring slots. One pull out drawer for storage. Pink velvet lining.
