The ... morelectern rack is missing the single piece of wood of bottom molding. The lectern opens and closes as desired. It has a gadroon edge. It is finished in a dark walnut stain. I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. The bottom of one of the sections has a crack and oval stain, which has no effect on the bookcase. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.

Up for auction is an original finish mahogany GLOBE 3/4 sized 2 stack barrister bookcase. One of the stacks has the original leaded glass door. The other has the original glass door. The doors move smoothly. The stacks are in the original finish. Have the original scissors and have the original stickers on the sections. The backs of the stacks are in excellent condition. The base is rolled, and the cap is bull nosed. The stacks are 25 1/2" wide. The stacks are 11" deep on the outside. There is a little wear on the front of the base. LOT 3 ANTIQUE MAHOGANY SLIDING DOORS. BOOKCASE? Good condition for age. ANTIQUE. Original finish. Mahogany. These measures approximately 29-1/2" X 19-3/4" 3/4" thick. I believe they could be off a Bookcase. One of the doors is missing rollers. One door is missing glass. And, one door is missing a finger pull. Top edge has a 1/4" groove in the center. The glass is dirty, it will need cleaned and scraped. Between the 3 doors I am sure a pair can be used. Please check out pictures they are the best description. I dont know alot about these but will be happy to answer any questions you may have. NO RESERVE!

3 Section Mahogany Bookcase
For sale is a magnificent mahogany triple bookcase dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s with a wonderful braided carving detail. This piece of fine furniture is all one piece measuring 6 feet in length. 5 feet in height, including the feet(which I have not measured but they are approximately 8- 10 inches high) and about 18 inches deep(I did not measure but will and will revise if necessary) The feet are removable and attach with 3 or 4 pegs each. The pegs are very substantial, but one is broken. This bookcase has wear commensurate with its age. But a good polish would make it look fabulous. There is a spot of white paint on top and some scratches, but they would only be visible to someone tall enough to see the top without being on a ladder. The shelves are all adjustable and the doors lock, although one lock is a little tricky. Someone ... moreinstalled lights in this piece, which I have never tried to turn on and do not recommend using because they will generate heat if the doors are closed, but I have not removed them. This piece must be shipped due to its size and weight. I have not weighed it. But an estimate only is 75 lbs. This bookcase is available for pickup. If, however, it is to be shipped to the east coast, I can recommend a very reliable shipper. If it is to be shipped in the immediate Philadelphia area I can recommend a mover who specializes is shipping antiques. This piece is in my shop, which is only open Sundays. The piece comes in two parts. The four door- four drawer base, and the glass fronted top. It's the perfect mix of aesthetic beauty and practical usefulness and will add a touch of style and elegance to any interiors scheme. The piece has the characteristic Sheraton style inlay to the front with the urns and garlands gracing the front of each door. There is also a thin strip bordering the doors. Drawers and glass fronted doors. If you imagine how this inlay is created you can see how much skilled craftmanship and man hours goes into the making of this fine piece of furniture. Each piece of marquetry inlay design has to be cut out of ... morethe softer fruitwood and then embedded into the harder mahogany of the main structure. There is a lot of storage space. The doors on the bottom open out to reveal the large inner space. This door is lockable and comes with a key. The drawers at the top open out cleanly. Then of course there is the fantastic glass fronted top half again with keys. When this opens out you can see the shelves are adjustable so you can store various items. Stamped"CW 60" Item# 120011TRP10 This is a fine antique Edwardian revolving bookcase. Crafted of solid golden mahogany, the top a single thick plank edged by carved molding over two levels of bookshelves. These are set at two distinct heights(10" top, 12" bottom) that allow it to comfortably hold most average size books. The sides are crafted of four shaped mahogany slats, each secured to the case with rounded screws, achieving the breezy and transparent overall aura associated with most fine pieces of the Edwardian period. The entire case spins with remarkable ease on thick dowel system inside of the case, presumably utilizing some kind of bearing inside for to account for the smoothness ... moreof the rotation(we have not taken it apart to see exactly what the mechanism is inside, but it is very strong and very smooth) This rests over four splayed feet locked together with a forged iron cross, resting over original caster wheels. This is the perfect decorator piece for any library or study. But with it's airy proportions still being very desirable in the living room beside a large couch. It is a gorgeous piece that was built to last generations, something that you will certainly enjoy in your home for a lifetime. The bookcase is masterfully crafted in flame mahogany. With secretaire drawer, classical 13 pane astragal glazing and adjustable shelves. The bookcase is beautifully crossbanded in satinwood and the flame mahogany is a wonderful colour. It retains all it's original shelves. Locks, keys and handles and has been well looked after. The beautiful astragal glazing is in perfect condition and the secretaire drawer retains it's original tooled and embossed leather writing surface. The back is all panelled and made from solid wood as are the drawer linings so this is a quality item which was well made using traditional methods in the second half of the 20th Century. Collector's piece lawyers barrister stacking bookcase with a lovely dark reddish brown original finish. This is a rare double wide colonial barrister that comes apart for a total of 6 seperate pieces. The wood is Mahogany and is grade 598 1/2 the finest they made. The doors open and slide into the bookcase to protect the bookcases. This bookcase came from the library at Marymount college after it was closed. All sections that hold the books are labeled with a special label. Says Philadelphia. New York, London, and Paris. The base is also labeled A-C Double Colonial Drawer Base. The bookcase has two desireable drawers at the base of the bookcase. The bookcase is extremely well made with thick, heavy mahogany.
