c1920'S double-door oak blind bookcase. 66" X 14" X 64 with eight adjustable adjustable shelves providing up to 10 rectangular spaces for storage. Overall very good condition with a small 3" triangular chip on top left of the case. There are a couple of small dings on edges apparently caused during a move. Stickley Mission Arts and Crafts Double-Door Oak Bookcase - Circa 1900
Excellent Condition: Bookcase designed by Harvey Ellis. Who worked for Gustav Stickley between 1903 and 1904. This heirloom quality piece first appeared in the October 1903 issue of the Craftsman. Distinctive features include wide overhanging top, arched apron and flaring pilasters. Each door(designed to be opened with key) has three leaded glass panels and lower panels divided by a central mullion. Plaster flank and divide the doors. Which open to four adjustable shelfs on each side. Arts and Crafts style. Year of mfg– 1997: Heirloom quality. Circa 1900. Retails for ~$4.100.
