The original deep finish on quarter sawn oak is very well preserved. It has been waxed and buffed so an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth will maintain its warm patina. Doors have original wavy glass and pyramidal oak knobs on this American made antique furniture. The labels are mostly missing. Mission Arts and Crafts oak barrister bookcase with leaded, beveled glass doors
Mission. Arts and Crafts oak bookcase with beveled, leaded glass in all eight sections. This bookcase is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and aesthetics. The rich grain of the wood and the detailing(please see photos) is superb. Total width: 48 inches. Depth: 12.5 inches. Height: 58 inches. Glass doors slide in. Top two sets of shelves hold books up to 9 inches high. Third shelf from the top holds books up to 11 inches high. Bottom shelf holds books up to 13.5 inches high. This bookshelf consists of six parts: top. Top shelf, second shelf, third shelf, bottom shelf and base. One small piece of glass(not the faceted. Wonderful Mission Arts& Crafts Style Bookcase! Cabinet is quarter sawn white oak with a warm patina finish. Shelves and back are straight grain white oak. This custom bookcase has through tenons and pegging. Pegging on the four corners of the door and on the bookcase itself. One small hammered copper pull. Not two as in the picture. This pull is patterned from the original designs of Gustav and Leopold Stickley. This is the same cast copper hardware that has been re-issued by the Stickley Company. Pull duplicates the hand-hammered texture of the originals and are finished to a warm. Glowing patina. Screws are new old stock all flat blade and no zinc coating. Three fixed shelves and the bottom are each 1" thick. Dimensions are: 24" wide. 13" deep and 56" high. Dimensions are to the outside of the through tenons. The is a misson lawyers bookcase from Globe Wernicke. Label says 898 mission oak finish and each of the 4 sections are labeled. I think the finish is fumed oak and is a lovely mission look. 55 inches tall. 11 inches deep and 34 inches wide. 4 sections with a seperate top and bottom. Bottom has a nice drawer. Original finish. Original antique wavy glass. All doors open nicely and have all inside door mechanisms. All hardware is original except for 2 knobs which were replaced at some poit. They were like that when I bought it. Nice shape, light expected wear. Easy to move. If you are in Queens or Brooklyn or manhattan, I could bring the bookcase to you for $45 cash in my highlander. Vintage Mission Arts & Crafts Style Oak Bookshelf Bookcase and Display Shelf
This auction is for a beautiful bookcase in the Arts and Crafts style. This particular unit stands 45-1/4" tall by 15" wide by 10-7/8" deep at top and tapering to 13-1/8" deep at the bottom with five shelves. The 3 top are 7-1/4" tall and the 2 bottom are 8-1/2" tall. The bookcase weigh 27 lbs 4 oz. and was manufactured from beautiful quarterswan oak joined with wood pegs. There are a few nicks and chips from normal use on a piece that maybe over a century old. A very fine antique. Circa 1905, Globe-Wernicke quartersawn oak five stack bookcase, with the bottom drawer section and the top cap. The stack interiors are maple. All oak doors retain their original wavy glass, and square brass knobs. Original brass pulls to drawer. The barrister type bookcase measures 6'1" 73" tall by 2'10" 34-1/2" wide by 11" deep, each stack 12" tall. Paper labels to interior read: size D 10-1/4, grade 299-1/2. Excellent condition: original finish, quartersawn oak boards without chips or cracks. All glass panels are without damage. Brass knobs and drawer pulls with dark patina.

Dimensions are approximately 59 1/2" wide x 56" high x 13 1/2" deep. This bookcase is a 2 door form with 12 panes per side. The Gustav Stickley mark is on the left hand side of the bookcase- top shelf(7th pic) I don't have the key but the iron pulls are included. I may be missing something that is important to you so please ask any questions. CONDITION- Three panes broke when we moved the bookcase from my aunts house to mine. The Iron V Pulls were removed but are included- see 8th picture- those look rusty. The finish is original- no work done and has somewhat faded where exposed to light. No stains that I can see. Just acquired out of a private Midwest estate we are able to offer this exceptionally nice. Circa 1900-1910 ~ SOLID QUARTER SAWN GOLDEN OAK REVOLVING BOOKCASE WITH A TWO TIER TABLE TOP SHELF ~. This fine quality revolving bookcase is quite unique and has a wonderful look as you will see. It has a very unique, handy two tier shelf top and many different compartments for the storage of books. There are individual celluloid numbers below the book shelves to help you locate your desired reference book. The numbers go up to 34 and it looks like there may have been 35 and 36 as well but they are not there. It measures 43 1/2 inches tall by about 26 inches square. The sections to store the books measure about 13 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches deep by 14 1/2 inches wide" some of them are only 11 1/2 inches wide" We have never seen another ... moreone like it, and i9magine it is a fairly hard to find, desirable example. The over all condition is pretty nice with some expected wear from age and use. All in all, it was actually very well cared for over the past 100 years or so. There are some small separations between the some of the boards on the two top shelves. It is very sturdy and is in ready to use condition. We left this bookcase exactly as it was when discovered in the estate and did not do a thing to it. It has been is storage for quite some time. It revolves just fine and rolls on the castor wheels very nice as well. I believe that the finish is original and it is actually quite nice with a rich warm patina. If you have been looking for a really nice and very unique revolving bookcase, this one here may be just the one you have been waiting for. Magnificent Antique Arts& Crafts 1910 Era Mission Oak Bookcase Tall Case Clock. Essentially a Mission oak bookcase with a clock top. The bookcase has 4 shelves. Overall it measures 16 1/2" wide. 10 1/2" deep and 67 1/2" to the top of the frame itself but add another 3 1/2" for the finial piece so it is about 71" high in total. It comes with the original pendulum and it is a time& strike chiming clock. I did not take it apart to check the clock name but I had a Sessions clock years ago that was similar(that one used a glass door bookcase) or it could be New Haven or similar Connecticut maker. Classic Mission slat sides- both sides and back. The top still retains the board that allows access to the movement. The only thing missing was the key but I had an extra brass number 6 size key that fits perfectly. The ... moremovement will run four a bit and stop, I am sure it just needs to be cleaned and oiled as the winding arbor springs feel fine when I tested both. A truly rare unique magnificent piece of genuine Mission oak- Stickley Limbert 1910 era. Fine clean solid sturdy condition- check my photos. The dark finish to the oak is fine and original. Hello. Up for auction is this striking antique solid oak, leaded stained glass, double door bookcase with scroll feet, with four adjustable shelves, and original hardware, with key for locking. It is solid oak, and in great shape for an old piece, including the original finish. Book case was made by Larkin soap company, of Buffalo, NY at the turn of the century, although there are no manufacturer's marks on it. It is indeed a Larkin. No breaks, or cracks in glass. Larkin was an early 20th Century soap manufacturer, who started giving away furniture as promotional items, and had so much success, they started making, and selling their own line of furniture. Stickley Mission Arts and Crafts Double-Door Oak Bookcase - Circa 1900
Excellent Condition: Bookcase designed by Harvey Ellis. Who worked for Gustav Stickley between 1903 and 1904. This heirloom quality piece first appeared in the October 1903 issue of the Craftsman. Distinctive features include wide overhanging top, arched apron and flaring pilasters. Each door(designed to be opened with key) has three leaded glass panels and lower panels divided by a central mullion. Plaster flank and divide the doors. Which open to four adjustable shelfs on each side. Arts and Crafts style. Year of mfg– 1997: Heirloom quality. Circa 1900. Retails for ~$4.100.

Mission-style antique dark oak revolving / rotating bookshelf / bookcase 53"h
This is a lovely antique Mission-style rotating bookshelf in dark oak. Its dimensions are: 53" high. 23" X 16.5" top(which is the largest width/depth of the piece) It rotates very easily-no noise or dragging whatsoever. The bookshelf is on wheels which makes it very easy to move around when empty. I would guess that it was refinished prior to my having purchased it(10-15 years ago) as the finish is in excellent condition. Buyer needs to pick up in San Jose OR arrange shipping.
