This set was actually in a Lawyer's office, just like you see it. Lycoming was a division of Globe Wernicke and I believe that these are all Lycoming sections. They will fit each other perfectly well, so you could add to your existing bookcase. This four section set measures 59 inches tall by 33 inches wide by 13 inches deep. The inside of the bookcase sections measure approximately 31 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches tall. The over all condition is pretty decent with some expected wear from age and use. I do see that one of the little brass knobs to open the one door is missing. All in all, this Barrister bookcase set was well cared for ... moreover the past 90 or so years. Some scratches on the wood as can be seen in the pics and has the original mahogany finish. Door measures. 32 3/8" x 9 5/8" fits a 8 1/2 bookcase. Family Heirloom. Mid Cabinet has some wrapped wood on the bottom and back, all else is in very nice shape for its age. Being sold as is. Bottom section is Globe Warnecki the top 2 are Prestonia, which is the same company. Globe Warnecki was sold to Prestonia after financial issues during the Great Depression. Antique Quarter Sawn Mission Oak Globe-Wernicke Barrister Stacking Bookcase
34" wide. 69" tall, 12" deep. Three 10" tall D-8 1/2 sections, Two 12" tall D- 10 1/4 sections base and top. This is a completley original barrister fully sanded and refinished. Original brass side straps and handles polished and clear coated so will not tarnish. All original wavy glass. Only flaw is a burn spot on top. Up for Auction is a Beautiful Early Globe-Wernicke Oak Lawyers Stacking Bookcase. The bookcase stands 58 inches tall. Is 34 inches wide, and is 12 inches deep. There are four units as well as a top and base. The units measure: 2 are 8-1/4 inches tall, one is 10-1/4 inches tall and one is 12-1/4 inches tall.
