A pair of traditional vintage brass fingerplates. These have a very plain design. And may have been designed for office or school doors, rather than for use in a private household. A Fantastic Door bell! In actual fact it was fitted to ring a bell in the factory. This is a rare item! The push inside is superbly built from porcelain steel and brass. Circa 1940 it is in lovely condition. Almost perfect! It has a standard 3/4 inch conduit fitting hole. Personally I think these look wonderful in conduit. This sale is for the bell push shown! Welcome to this 7 day auction for a rare vintage wooden chicken. Rabbit cage. This unique cage measures about 11-1/2" tall by 13" by 13" square. It has been used. No broken or missing pieces. Still functional. Could use a good bath. Garage dust and spotting with a tiny amount of yellow spray paint. The top of the cage with handle can be removed. Just gently push down on the panel. Move or slid the panel to the side about 1" to 2" and then lift the top panel off. The bottom can also be removed the same way. Circa 1950's it is in perfect condition. I have polished up the cast iron and brass- really heavy made precision item. And the mechanism inside? It is like new! Made by that great old firm Gents of Leicester. Famous for its clocks and fire alarms and the huge clock in St Pancras Station. It has a standard 3/4 inch conduit fitting hole.
