Lot 6 Vintage Brass Garden Water Hose Nozzles
These six old brass garden hose nozzles range in size from 3-1/8" to 4-1/4" high. All of them turn. A couple turn a little harder than the others. I haven't tried them and don't know how they'll actually work. There are a few spots of what may be paint on a couple and they are a little dusty. Two of them are marked FULTON. Here we have a very good set of 4 small size brass and ceramic casters from the early 20th century. These came off a music canterbury and come with their original screws. The casters are 2 3/8th of an inch long and the ceramic casters are 1 inch in diameter. Am happy to combine postage on all items currently listed. Vintage / antique /Arts and Crafts painted brass letterbox cover
I have for sale this lovely old painted brass vertical letterbox cover- probably Victorian/ Arts and Crafts/ Edwardian. It is currently painted black. But the paint will come off with paint stripper. It still has fixing screws attached. The metal spring which keeps it closed has unfortuately snapped. But looks easy to replace/ repair. As is typical of the age. It is quite small- the opening measures 6.5 inches x 1 inch. The overall measurements are 7.5 inches x 2.5 inches. The fixing bolts are 2 inches long. A lovely decorative piece. Vintage Brass Ormalu Architectural Embpssed 2" Bow Clock Frame Drapery Remnant?
Up for auction is a vintage architectural brass embossed ormalu recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is highly decorative and served a function in its day indicated by the square hanger in the back. But we are unsure if this was something furniture, clock, frame or drapery related as we've not seen the square on the back before. Very nicely made and still retains its original patina. Vintage Wood & Brass X-Large 48" Carpenters L Square by Sommer & Maca

The second question you might have is what the heck would I do with this, first off let me say that this is a cool old piece that has that aged patina to it that old wood and brass gets, and it is wood with brass fittings. This is the extra large one, it measures 53 inches to the top and 27 on the bottom side. It also has a scaled ruler on both sides up to 48 inches(that's 4 feet) This would look so awesome mounted on a wall or even sitting around, to give that home or office a eclectic look. Even a woodworking shop for display. This was produced by Sommer and Maca and made in the USA. The wood is still solid and all joints are still ... moretight. Vintage industrial Switch Crabtree porcelain & brass Superb! nice character Item
A Crabtree switch with a solid brass plate front(nickel plated) and a nice crisp switch- condition is almost perfect! I haven't even cleaned it. The offices had this type(posh isn't it) It has a standard 3/4 inch conduit fitting hole. The brass gland shown can be used for a cable fitting or removed for conduit. Personally I think these look wonderful in conduit. This sale is for the first switch shown! The different switches shown are not included in this sale! Vintage GEC Switches x 8 Porcelain Brass Bakelite Circa 1928 Stanley Royd Church
Bank of eight switches from the now demolished Stanley Royd Church. Rare* GEC'landor' double pole switches so can be used to switch live and neutral or just live. They were fitted behind the organ in a recess and switched on only four lights. The others weren't used. One of them is slightly different it has a brown porcelain base and this one switched power to the organists light. Clever folk those Edwardians! The switches are all still crisp and show little sign of wear. Being for where the lights were situated they were rarely used.

Wonderful recent estate sale purchase. Hand wrought brass lavabo from Italy dates to the 1950s/60s. Tank with lid measures 28" long and 13" across. Bottom piece is 7" long and 13" across. A traditional bolting door lock. For a bathroom or bedroom door. There is a bolt on one side. As shown- this is NOT the sort of lock that has a key. It comes with two oval brass handles- one is larger than the other. As you can see. I do not know when this item was made. But it looks as if it's had a few decades' use.
