Chimney 100 ft. antique vintage red brick architectural salvage 1 million bricks
Want to own a 100 foot tall red brick chimney from the 1860's? Built during the civil war for the increased production at this New England Thread Mill. The Gardiner Hall Jr. Company Thread Manufacturing Co. Was built so high because the entire mill was originally wood fired for the steam processing and they needed good draft to keep the wood burning. Water power from the lake above provided the mechanical power to turn the looms,etc. I don't really know but guess there are close to 1.000,000 bricks in it. It is about 14' wide at the base where the walls are 2' thick and tapers to 6' at the top where it is about 16" thick. There is also a trash burning area at the bottom that you can somewhat see in the photos which has a steel door access which goes with the chimney. There is a copper cabled lighting rod protection ... moresystem in place that goes with it as well. Take it away and rebuild it at your place or sell the bricks or buy the whole thread mill building from me. You're responsible for all labor. Antique Vintage Stick and Ball Fretwork 13 3/4" X 58 3/4" Architectural Salvage
Here is a salvaged piece of stick and ball fretwork. The piece measures about 58 3/4" long and is about 13 3/4" high. Piece is in very decent shape for its age. But does have a couple of condition issues. There are a couple of cracks in the wood on the center piece. I can see one ball where half of the ball is missing. It looks like two of the sticks are slightly warped, and there are some splits in the balls as it looks like each ball is joined together with tiny nails. I believe this is the original finish as it has the appearance of finish that has aged. A couple of small dings in the wood but no significant damage at all. Two fabulous antique architectural pieces. I believe they were grates/registers for the home. So decorative and just the right size! The arched piece measures 13.75 inches tall and 10.25 inches wide at the base. The rectangular piece measures 11.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide. You can display them anywhere: hang them on a wall. Hi. Up for sale is a set of 4 unique pieces of cast iron(with faint copper overlay? they could be floor mounts. They each measure about 5.75" high and 3-1/8" on each side of the base. There are four screw holes in the base. The top has an opening of about 1.25" and tapers down to about 7/8" about an inch further down- it is open all the way through to the bottom- the square opening at the bottom is about 1.25" across. Antique Painted Hardwood Finials 7" Architectural Salvage Shabby Chippy Vintage
Listing a great pair of old finials to add to your furniture making project. I believe these previously were part of a headboard to an old 4 poster bed. They are 9 1/2" long overall. The finial section is 7" and the bottom(shaft) is 2 1/2" I believe they are made of rock maple. There is some chippiness and rubs on some parts but absolutely no damage whatsoever to the wood. These could be the finishing touches on an antique bed or even the top of an old kitchen hutch or cupboard. Do you have a use for these wonderful finials? Vintage Salvage Decorative Relief Wood Panel
Estate sale purchase. So age& history unknown, though it looks to be quite old. Quite honestly, I do not know what this was a part of originally. It is a beautiful wood panel that has a deep dark brownish red finish with an antique rub. The flash of the camera has made the finish look a little more red than it is in person. The"frame" part is a dark wood stain. It has a great relief design. The back side is finished as well, which has some wear to the finish(photo#6) The panel is finished on three of the edges, and is unfinished on the other(see last photo) That edge is the top when wall mounted, so cannot be seen. Vintage French Enamelware Iron Clam Shell Soap Dish Industrial Salvage
Purchased this heavy cast iron soap dish in France. Repurpose this industrial pick! It is enameled over this lovely large clam shell design. As you can see from the pictures the base has a foot so that it can stand on any surface. It measures about 9 1/2" wide 9" deep and 3 3/4" tall at highest point. Great decorator piece for cottage beach house design. One spot where enamel has chipped as shown. Otherwise very good for its age.

Vintage Stick & Ball Spindle Fretwork Panel Victorian Old Architectural Salvage
Re-listing this due to some things I overlooked in writing the description. Corrected below. Auction is for a vintage. Original Victorian period stick and ball or spindle type panel of fretwork- Striking wall hanging piece against a light background and set off a wall it throws some off some great shadows. Open center is an interesting element. It is stained a brown color and is hardwood. It is in great shape considering age. The finish has worn unevenly in spots- has some imperfections that include a'ball' missing in the center that attaches it one of the four sides, one of the spindles nearest the center is not attached at the one end and there may be a few others that are loose and perhaps shifted position over time and the previous'buyer' pointed out that the balls were not uniform in size- and since they were hand turned ... morethat is possible and likely, but I do not see where it detracts. I don't see where anything else is missing, damaged or has had a major repair, but please check the photos before you bid or buy- both sides are depicted. Size is 58 inches long by a little over a foot tall. I'm guessing the shipping calculator is going to show the cost to ship as being higher than it actually will be. Vintage Salvage Steel Molding
This steel crown molding came from a historic downtown San Francisco building built in the 1880s. It miraculously survived the Great Earthquake. It was salvaged in the 1960s or 1970s by a contractor friend who was part of the building remodel. From what my friend said. They where using the molding for cabinets in the building. They are weathered because they have been outside for probably 25 years or so. The pieces are roughly 9' 7" long. Note: This sale is for the SEVEN PIECES OF MOLDING ONLY. Vintage architectual salvage shelf with removable gold ball finial. Extremely well made and sturdy. This shelf will hold alot of weight. This vintage item is not new. It has some scuffs and scratches but just adds to the appeal of this shelf. It is constructed like vintage crown moulding. This is a solid piece so it is very heavy. This shelf measures 7 inches high from top of shelf to bottom of gold ball x 5 inches deep x 9.5 inches in length. The gold ball can be removed and replaced with another finial. The finish on the ball is a muted gold color and I think is is made out of brass(it is heavy when removed) The color of the shelf is tobacco.
