There are seven decorative vertical posts with fancy spearheads on the tops and balls on the bottom. The floral forms in the center look like fleur-de-lys on their sides- I think the fine details on these flower forms is cast into one side only. This gate has many coats of black enamel paint. The gate weighs 25 pounds so with proper mounting it shouldn't pull down an interior wall should you choose to hang it. It has presence but is not an overwhelmingly large piece for a room setting- it will compliment rather than overwhelm. Needless to say that this would be a great garden element too. The company name on them is WHEELING COP-R-LOY The company was in West Virginia and not in business any more as far as I can determine.I have 515 unused but slightly weathered tiles. Approx 206 Sq. Ft. The first photo is an old shed with these tiles.Some of the tiles have some surface rust and chipped paint exposing the tin underneath. Most of the tiles are in great shape. The second photo shows the end cap. Unfortunately I only have the one but looks fairly easy to replicate. I can ship/ get quote via ground freight. Total weight = approx. 350 lbs. packed. Large vintage solid brass medallion or finial for fountain. Or other. Heavy solid brass. The lion symbol measures 10 1/4" tall and 6 3/4" wide. Also 2 1/2" deep. There are two connecting spots on the back. One of them has the threaded insert that screws in and out. The other side is missing. The angle of the connections tells me that it went on something round. Excellent dark, natural patina on the brass front. Beautiful architectural piece. 2 Metal Lion Heads For Garden Fountain-Architectural Salvage
This is a pair of lion heads which I believe are made of Zinc. But not real sure. I'm almost positive they were originally used in a fountain because you can see inside the back where there was some bar soldiered to the inside of the mouth that would have helped hold a hose in their mouth. those bars are no longer inside the heads. I took some pretty detailed pictures, so I think you can tell what you're getting with these two great lion heads. If you have any questions please ask, and I'll do my best. They each measure 11 1/2" by 8 1/2" And they would stick out from the wall about 6" There are numerous layers of paint, but would strip off easily.
