The pattern is of pastel bouquets of blue flowers& green foilage wrapped in rose pink ribbon with the edges sponged with gold. The shape is oblong with a slightly rasied scroll throughout. Condition ~ is excellent with one descrepancy which is a small chip that is depicted in photos 5& 6. Offered for sale is an incredibly beautiful Limoges hand painted round dresser box or jewelry casket. 7 3/4" wide and H 4 1/4" The opening is 6 7/8 inches. The bottom rim is 5 3/4 inches across. Bowl is 2 1/4 inches deep. As the photos show, this is a very accomplished Limoges artist that painted this beauty. In 44 years of the antique business, this is the most beautiful portrait I have sold. The piece is in great shape. The photos show a tiny black dot in a little divot- probably in the mold originally. I received this Sevres box as a gift. It is a Gorgeous Vintage Antique Sevres Porcelain Jewelry. Dresser Box with Hallmarking on the bottom[please see the picture] The embellishing and coloring on the box is beautiful. It has gold colored gilding all the way around it with a bronze/brass gilding all the way around the bottom and lid. It has a bronze/brass flower motif at the top. refer to pictures) The box appears to be hand-painted and is in wonderful condition with no cracks or chips. The box is about 5" in diameter without the lid and a little over with the lid on. With the lid on it is about 2.5"tall. This is an amazing buy and find! It comes from a smoke free home. Vintage Ceramic Porcelain Trinket Box Made in Italy Artist Signed& Numbered This Bid is for a vintage Italian Ceramic/ Porcelain Trinket Box. It measures approx. 7 1/2" long x 3 3/4" high x 6" deep. The item looks to be hand painted with gold-leaf and decorated with very detailed colorful flowers on top and front. The box was made in Italy. Signed and numbered by the artist. I am unsure of the age of the box but it was a gift to our family in about the mid 60's. There is some normal vintage use wear and there is a small chip on the inside of the cover. The box has a wonderful ceramic glaze which adds to the richness and depth of the color. An antique blue porcelain dresser/jewelry/trinket box in a hexagonal shape. It has a hinged lid. Which closes very securely.The hinge on the back wiggles a little. But it's delicate. It has an applied Victorian scene of a gentleman courting two ladies on top. There are also applied floral designs inside on white on top and bottom. The gold guild floral design on the blue, has a little wear in places, but over all is in good condition. The style of the box is similar to those made by Wave Crest. It has San Francisco written on the top with a light blue paint and 1938 written on the front. I don't know if this was a souvenir or if someone wrote it themselves. The marks"MADE IN JAPAN" or"JAPAN" were used to sign porcelain from 1921-1941. This is stamped"MADE IN JAPAN" in gold paint on the bottom. It is pre-owned ... morefrom an estate. You are looking at a delightful very early antique Capo-di-Monte jewelry or dresser box bought by my Great Grandmother at a Paris flea market in before WW11. This is a lovely piece measuring approx. 2 ½ inches across and 1 ½ inches high. It depicts a group of three cherubs frolicking on the banks of a stream one is carrying a stave. They are surrounded by gold gilt. A lone cherub is shown with a stave or staff on the side detail along with garlands of roses and'crossed-staves' There is also a curious set of musical bagpipes below the clasp. There is a single rose painted on the inside lid. According to my research. This is a very early maker’s mark dating it sometime around or before the 1850’s. This a real collectors piece and it is in'Excellent' condition! The paint and gold gilt is crisp and clean. There are no ... morecracks, nicks or scrapes or scratches that I can see. And the lid snaps tightly open and closed. Similar boxes such as these early ones are commanding top dollar on other antique sights! My grandmother was an avid collector with a great eye. Beautiful French Ceramic Porcelain Jewelry or Dresser Box with Hand Painted Enamel. Beautiful and fine 19th century hand painted ceramic box with bronze trim and heavily gold gilded interior. The top has a scene of risque scene which shows a gal who has had the right side of her blouse pulled down by a cherub. Bright floral enamels decorate the outside borders and the bottom section of box. The inside also has a hand painted scene. Really a unique piece and quite beautiful. It measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/2" tall and it is set in a gorgeous bronze trim with an excellent hinge and the box closes snugly. There are no chips. Up for sale is a Capodimonte Italian Porcelain Dresser/ Jewelry/ Trinket Box. It is hinged and has a beautiful clasp. This box is hand painted with many scenes from the daily life of the people. A hand painted pink rose is on the inside bottom and on inside of lid. Please see all the great pictures. It measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" Oval. It is Palm Springs estate sale fresh and was well cared for as many of the items I purchased at this sale. It does not have any fleabites. Nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. Stunning, hand painted dresser box which features an exquisite portrait on porcelain of a young girl done in the Victorian style by the well-known china artist Ona Lee Crocker circa 1986–1989. The portrait on the lid is of the most angelic little girl with a peaches and cream complexion and exquisitely rendered hair. Her features. And particularly her eyes, are incredibly lifelike, and she is wearing a blue dress with a ruffled neckline and a corsage of flowers at her shoulder. She has a lacy white cap, from which trails a blue scarf to match her dress. Of particular note is the string of pearls around her neck which are raised in texture and have a luscious shimmer.
