It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Pain looks nice and bright and scratch free. There is a small chip in the porcelain along the bottom edge of the box. There is also a yellow stain on the inside of the lid. Antique Fairing Pug Dog Ceramic Box Match Safe Victorian Vintage Trinket
This is an antique Fairing match safe with a pug dog figurine on the lid. There are diamond shapes on the 4 corners in blue. And gold flecks over the surface of both top and bottom. It does not show in the picture, but on the inside of the top, there are ridges to be used to strike matches. On the bottom of the base are the numbers 3508 and underneath that, 141. There are no cracks, chips or crazing that I can see. This item stands about 3 1/2 inches tall. This is perfect for any collector of match safes or Fairing ware. I accept PayPal only. Antique Hand Painted Victorian Couple Trinket Box
Up for your consideration is a beautifully hand painted porcelain trinket box. The lid has a Victorian courting couple with Fragonard written on it. The box is a pretty raspberry color with lots of gold gilding on the lid and around the sides of the box. Two sides of the box have a floral scene on it as well. It is an unusual shape and a nice size measuring 5" wide by 3-1/2" tall. It is marked"Made in Spain" on the bottom. This is a special box and is one of the prettiest that I've seen. It would look gorgeous in your powder room or on your bedroom dresser. The only flaw that I can see is a little drip mark/scratch on the lid(it doesn't feel like a scratch) Other than that it is absolutely gorgeous. If you have any questions. Antique Victorian portrait blue dresser box
This dresser box is 3 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide at the widest part. The box depicts a girl on the top. It is partly a transfer and partly hand painted. The color of the jar is light blue and it has gilded decoration on the outside near the bottom. The mounts are likely brass and have turned darker. The jar is not signed. This dates circa 1900. This is a fantastic antique late 19th century Victorian opaline hand-painted enameled jar or box. It is definitely French. The floral decorations are lovely and feminine. This may have also held jewelry. In the top of the box is silk. Unfortunately. It is a bit torn but does not distract from the beauty of the piece. The bronze is in excellent condition and the box snaps shut tightly. It has no damage, no chips or cracks. Amazing it has survived for 100 years intact. Size is 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" at the base. The flowers on the lid are pink and white with grey leaves. The handle and edge have gold leaf remnants. The lid has a chip as depicted in the photos. The few"Brush Boxes" I have found are described as for tooth brushes and also for hair brushes. One seller indicates"Victorian Women used this type of box on their dressers or vanities to hide common hair styling items from sight; the shelving on the interior allowed loose hair to fall to the bottom. More often I see them described for holding tooth brushes. The hand crafted racks/shelves inside this box are actually shaped like a moustache or lips! WAVE CREST COLLARS AND CUFFS BOX Excellent example of early Wave Crest ware(1800's) It is milk glass(opaque white) in a bubble-bumpy egg crate type glass. Attributed to Pairpont Manufacturing Company in Massachusetts, then decorated with ornate purplish blue and white flowers in glaze and enamel by the C. F. Monroe Company in CT. It is 6.5-7 inches square with an ormolu gold band and simple clasp. It stands approximately 6.5 inches high and weighs around 3.5 pounds. This one still has the silk lid liner, though age and dry rot have taken toll on the material, so it is most delicate. This will be wrapped and shipped by parcel post with insurance upon sale and payment via Paypal.

Up for auction is this stunning antique wash stand vanity set box for a toothbrush. This is heavy china completely white glazed then with a black transferware pattern of a flying stork. I believe this is from the Aesthetic Movement of the 1870’s and 1880’s influenced by the opening of Japan. Dish is 8 ¾” long and 3 7/8” wide. This piece is not marked. It is in overall good condition with a flat chip on the underside of the lid rim(not visible when the lid is in place) There are few pits from the original firing process. But no other damage. Antique Hexagon Porcelain Dresser Jewelry Trinket Box, Victorian Scene, Hinged
An antique blue porcelain dresser/jewelry/trinket box in a hexagonal shape. It has a hinged lid. Which closes very securely.The hinge on the back wiggles a little. But it's delicate. It has an applied Victorian scene of a gentleman courting two ladies on top. There are also applied floral designs inside on white on top and bottom. The gold guild floral design on the blue, has a little wear in places, but over all is in good condition. The style of the box is similar to those made by Wave Crest. It has San Francisco written on the top with a light blue paint and 1938 written on the front. I don't know if this was a souvenir or if someone wrote it themselves. The marks"MADE IN JAPAN" or"JAPAN" were used to sign porcelain from 1921-1941. This is stamped"MADE IN JAPAN" in gold paint on the bottom. It is pre-owned ... morefrom an estate. So I can't verify the exact age. Wave Crest did make this style of box in the early 1900's. If anyone knows anymore.please let me know, as you can tell. I'm not an expert on this. GERMAN OR STAFFORDSHIRE, DATING TO C1870 This is just a wonderful antique fairing trinket box with the most adorable motif! Little Boy Blue looks through the bullrushes. There was probably a mirror in the opening of the box which could be added if desired. The Box itself has two swans at either ends- this is a rare and wonderful form! And so immensely charming. The box is either a German box or a Staffordshire one. It dates to the 19th Century. Probably c1850-1880. This piece is just so rare and wonderful! The box is in wonderful condition.
