This is a very lovely antique Sevres French Porcelain Box. The details on the Sevres piece is very amazing and very fine. On the top of the box there is a very lovely scene of a man and a woman who are in love. The woman is holding the man with her arms around his shoulders. While the man is looking at her. Beside them is a baby sheep. And there are gorgeous flowers and trees surrounding them. Then on the right of them you can see a pond and there home, it is a very lovely scene. It was often mistaken for Chinese export because it was common for Samson to mark their wares with a pseudo-iron red seal resembling a Chinese stamp. The hand-painted hinged box has pink. Purple, and orange roses and other flower shapes surrounding a coat-of-arms. There is a banner beneath that reads LABOR, which could be referring to, or relating to the labour party. 18th CENTURY VEUVE PERRIN FRENCH ENAMEL PATCH/PILL BOX CHINESE DESIGN c1780 A very nice Veuve Perrin(Marseille) enamel patch/pill box measuring 3 1/4" x 2" x 1 1/2" The box is decorated in polychrome colors and on the lid is depicted a Chinaman building a fence surrounded by flowers and foliage and with birds flying overhead. The front and rear sides are decorated with exotic birds and the ends with flowers. The box is in very good condition both internally and externally; there is some slight age wear to the base and a small crack in the enamel at the right hand end below the mounting(please see photo) Monogram'VP' mark to base. Date would be c 1780. Claude Perrin born in Nevers on 20th April1696 settled in Marseille in 1733 where he died on 25th March 1748. Pierette Candelot. 18th Century French Style Obelisk With Horses Ceramic Earthenware Porcelain
You are buying a beautiful and interesting decorative earthenware obelisk. It is over 18" tall and about 6" wide at its widest point. The colors. The painting, the horse heads just scream 18th Century Country French. French, French, French! Is it French? I don't honestly know for sure. I won't lie. But it sure looks French. There is no makers mark or stamp or label on the bottom. And the glazes have that look leading me to believe that it is significantly old. I could be wrong- you be the judge. 19th Century Antique French Red Beveled Glass Jewelry Box with Satin Fabric
This is a French Antique Red Beveled Glass Jewelry Box All four sides of lid are beveled glass. It is a beautiful red rose color. There is one small nick on the left side of glass. Hinge works great. Bottom of box is lined with red satin material which is faded and frayed as appropriate with age. Metal appears to be brass. Legs have a floral design. Measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" tall. Marking on bottom partial paper label reads: IMLPMON. NO 578/817, PAR, REX.

Antique 19th Century French Ceramic Trinket or Snuff Box This exquisite little antique French hinged snuff box measures 2-3/4" across by 1-3/4" wide by 1-1/8" high. It is oval in shape with a gently domed lid. Brass mounts, a rear hinge and a figural daisy clasp. The lid and body are hand painted with deep fuschia flowers. Fine green lattice and gold trim accents. Two more flowers are painted under the lid and in the well. The bottom is unmarked. This beautiful little box is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks and almost no loss to the decoration.
