Limoges porcelain covered dresser box and pin tray made in France. It is beautifully hand painted in pink flowers. Green leaves and blue accents on a pastel green background with gold trim. The bottoms of both pieces are marked as shown in the photos. The rectangular tray measures 6 1/4" long and 3 3/4" wide. The hexagonal box measures 4" high to the lid finial and 4 1/4" wide. The tray and jar are in excellent condition. But there is a small chip on the inner lip of the lid shown in the last photo. There is no loss of the painted floral pattern and no wear of the gold trim. Vintage Fancy Gold Metal Covered Jewerly Casket / Dresser Box
Fresh from an estate here near the Ohio River Valley. Is this wonderful antique gold-tone jewelry casket or dresser jar. It is in very good condition and still has its original glass liner. There is no missing gold that I see. Though it could use a bit more cleaning than I have given it. The only wear I see is some on the underside of the lid, which doesn't show at all. This may even have been a powder box for face powder. I just don't know. BUT. It is a very nice piece. Lots of pictures have been provided. But if you have any questions or concerns please ask. C1910 German KPM Porcelain Figural Covered Dresser Box Hatching Cherubs No Res Description. This listing is for a circa 1910 German KPM figural covered dresser box of a winged cherubs hatching. The piece measures 5 ½ inches or 14 cm high and is 6 ½ inches or 16.5 cm at its widest. The figural dresser box features a pink woven basket full of white eggs. The cover shows winged cherubs emerging from the eggs. They are in various states of hatching. Making the piece quite interesting. It is marked on the interior of the cover in underglaze blue“KPM” which dates the piece to the early 20 th century. The figural dresser box is in overall very good condition for its age. One cherub has a repair to his foot. Minor flea bites on some of the applied flowers and a small chip to the base foot. The box measures 3 ¾ inches or 9.5 cm high. And is 6 ¾ inches or 17.1 cm wide. The box is glazed in light blue with a cartouche at the top featuring men and women in a garden setting. Around the box is a heavy gilded hand painted border. The sides of the box are also have heavy applied gold highlights. The white interior of the box has colorful floral bouquets.
