Lovely Antique Dark Blue Wedgwood Dipped Jasper ware Trinket Box
You are viewing a very attractive lidded trinket box made by Wedgwood in dipped blue Jasper Ware. The box. Which is 4cms tall and 6cms wide, has the impressed Wedgwood backstamp without England or Made in England, just a number 3 and another mark(see picture 3) so I think it is probably mid 19th century. It is decorated with classical scenes and the lid has a border of roses. The piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Thank you for looking.

This jewelry box is from the World Famous Fountain Blue Hotel in Paris. France It is a signed piece with the signature on the top and trademarks on bottom. It is my understanding that this is one of only 800 or so made.As you can see by the pictures it is still in quite lovely condition except for one small chip under the rim. I have tried to show as much as possible in the pictures. 06/14/2013 I was just informed that the top of the box is not attached to it. It has a gold tone rim that needs to be reattached to it.

Antique GERMAN Blue and White Hanging SALT BOX - VERY NICE CONDITION
You are bidding on a very nice salt box with a lovely blue design. The word"Salt" is lettered in gold- with some wear showing on the lettering- particularly on the letter S. There is also gold trim on the hanging tab but it is worn off on the lower sections. Please check all my pictures as I strive to show all I describe in the pictures! It is marked Germany in two places on the bottom as well as there being a triangle hallmark which include more letters which I can't make out. The box measures 4 and 3/4 inches and stands 4 and 1/2 inches to the top of the wood lid(6 and 3/4 inches to the top of the back) It has a hole in the back for hanging and a wooden flap lid. The lid itself is in very good condition with a pretty edge. The two nails which are the hinges do not look to be original and there is definite but painstaking repair ... moredone to the underside of the lid by the right hinge. The unglazed part of the bottom edge is soiled. The box weighs about 1 lb 9 oz without any packing materials or the box to ship it in. Colorful Bird and Flowers Enamel Description: This is an antique brass porcelain blue box decorated with a hand painted piece of enamel of a colorful bird and flowers. The oval shaped box measures approximately 5" long. 3 1/2" wide, and 3" tall. It is made of blue porcelain and features a brass etched edging, hinge, and clasp. The bottom of the box is marked with someone's initials and/or scribbles and the number"582. Condition: The porcelain is nice and smooth. There is a high spot on the lid. But this appears to have been from its making. The brass shows signs of discoloration. The clasp does not hold tightly to the box, so it does not close completely. This dresser box is 3 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide at the widest part. The box depicts a girl on the top. It is partly a transfer and partly hand painted. The color of the jar is light blue and it has gilded decoration on the outside near the bottom. The mounts are likely brass and have turned darker. The jar is not signed. This dates circa 1900. This is an exquisite life size pear shaped porcelain trinket box with gold and blue trim. It is unmarked but appears to be"Staffordshire" from the mid to late Victorian era. Then again it may be European. Other than some loss of what appears to be 24 Karat Gold decoration(grape leaf clusters. Flowers and paisley) there are no chips or damage. The fine line blue trim is reminiscent of Herend. The bottom half has an unglazed lip inside which probably accommodated a strip of felt resulting in a more secure fit with the lid which otherwise has a degree of play. There are old paper label remnants inside the lid and on the bottom. It is marked on the bottom with the Sitzendorf mark and the numbers 21050 or 21060. I was told this piece is featured on page 562 of the book"The Collectors Encyclopedia of Half-Dolls" by F. Marion and N. Werner. This lovely lady in the blue dress appears to be sitting in a white chair. Her arms drape over the back of the chair. Antique 1850-1899 Cobalt Blue Covered, Porcelain, Dual Portrait Box, Large
Up for auction is an antique lustrous. Large and unique dual Portrait Box. I have never seen another one as exquisite as this one, with cobalt Flow to the blue decoration on both the top and the bottom. Measuring approx. 7" square, and including the handle, it is 5" tall. There are dainty purple and pink flowers surrounding the relief on the base and the top. The portraits are the most beautiful part of the piece, both women wearing period hats. I only wish I knew the history. It is in excellent condition with a very minor flea bite on the underside edge of the top. Antique Rare French Sevres Heart Trinket Box Cobalt Blue Gilt Portrait 1700s
Lovely old French Sevres Heart Shape Dresser Trinket Box. This box is in cobalt blue with heavy gold accents. The box measures approximately 3.75 X 3.75 inches and is 1.5 inches tall. Decorated with a garden portrait scene on the lid. The latch and hinges are present and work well. There is some damage to the lid which has been roughly repaired. I have kept this piece for some time with the intention of having a proper restoration done. But just never got around to it. A crack extends across the top of the lid but is most noticeable at the upper left of the piece. I am not an expert in porcelain but from the information I have found the box dates to approximately 1756. Even with the flaws it displays fairly well and is a rare and attractive piece. Antique Heart Shaped Box Germany Pavilion at Silver Lake Park Ohio Cobolt Blue
This antique(late 1800s to early 1900s) heart shaped box depicts the pavilion at Silver Lake Park in Ohio. I believe it is bisque porcelain. No chips. Cracks, or paint loss. One area along rim on inside lip looks like it has a chip in the paint but is glazed over so came from factory this way. These old souvenir pieces were not high end pieces to start with and were very inexpensive at time of purchase when new. There is also a spot of extra clay that has been fired on and painted over on the left at the tree line. Wonderful graphics of a boat with two people on the inside. Flag flying in the breeze over the pavilion. Box measures 3 inches wide at the widest part and 1 1/2 inches high. Nice little jewelry box or keepsake box. Marked Germany on the bottom.
