The lid fits, don't know if it's a set, depicts an open book on a dresser. Lid has missing item broken off, and a large chip behind it. 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 2" Item# 5& 6: Staffordshire? white porclain Queen's Crown. Sword& Sceptor lid, no chips, a little orange& gold paint remains. Box has a tiny hole in the porcelain that has brown discoloration around it. Pretty blue paint on the corners, most of the gold has rubbed off. No chips. Has numers/prices written on both pieces that don't wipe off with damp cloth. The lid& box seem to fit together, not sure if they're an original set. 4" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" Item#7& 8: Staffordshire? The smallest of the collection. This one also depicts the Queen's Crown. This is a charming little trinket or other box. Typical of old Staffordshire except that it opens from the bottom instead of the top. This is a SMALL box measuring approximately 2-3/4" w x 2-1/4"t x 2-1/8"d and it is in amazingly good condition considering it's age. The only wear I could find was that mentioned in Condition but not even any on the bottom The top features a man who has stopped to recline and rest on the grass with his cane in front of him and his dog at his feet. c1880 Rare Match Striker Box Girl with Cat This is an original. Rare match holder box with striker. The box is made of fine porcelain, hand painted with floral motif, gilt wording, Matches' on the front side. A figural girl with cat is on the top lid. The underside of the lid has ridges, this is used to strike the match. I'm not sure of the maker, I'm guessing French or German, possibly English. Up for bid is an absolutely beautiful antique snuff box. It was looked at by a professional. And although it could be Battersea, it is most likely Bilston or South Staffordshire from the 1780's. It is meant to mimic a travel trunk, and o n the inside of the lid. There is intentional webbing(not cracks or crazing) with a note. On the outside of the lid there is a badge that says.
