Rare Antique Georgian Battersea Bilston Enamel“Friendship” Snuff/Patch/Trinket Box. Late 18th C Made in England. Date is based on my research of similar styles. Script reads“Friendship Shall ever sacred be Between my worthy Friend& me. Pink enamel over copper base, white top/interior, mirrored lid, original patina metal trim with fully functioning hinge and front tiny finger knob to open/close. Measures 1 ⅝” wide, 1 ¼” deep, ⅞-1” high. Overall very nice condition for its age- mirror has foxing, typical wear to enamel base from use, a few enamel cracks(see photos) no deep/significant cracks or chips.
