For sale is a beautiful antique Dini& Cellai porcelain dresser box. The box is approximately 5.5" by 3.5" by 2" This box has Cherubs surrounded by floral motif border on the lid and each side is embossed with foliage and a centralized urn. Encompassing the porcelain depictions is a hand painted. Bronze colored meander. The box is in wonderful condition considering its age, save a few very minor chips in the lacquer on the reverse of the lid. Up for your consideration is a magnificent and rare to find old Capodimonte hinged porcelain chest. It's quite old and came from a collector's estate. Measures 9 1/2" wide x 7 1/4" tall. The decorative Cherubs. Mainden and chariots are all over this piece. It has standard normal wear with no major damage. It's an old piece, the inside has a metal chain that holds the lid to the bottom and a floral decor on the inside of the lid and the bottom of the chest. A truly magnificent find and quite a rare one to find. The older ones have the decorative flowers on the floor board. The newer ones do not. The hinges are old and made of brass. This auction is for a vintage dresser box decorated with a cherub and bocage style flowers and highlighted in gold by Kalk. The box is large measuring 9 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide. DATING TO THE PERIOD OF NAPOLEON III, C1850. This is a gorgeous French porcelain box. The center is a hand painted image of two cherub angels- they are painted a la grisaille- or in shades of grey. They are wonderful! The porcelain box has a pink ground with gold trim and further painting of flowers again in grisaille on the front. It has bronze ormolu mounts with a tightly closing wreath motif clasp. The box is most likely from France. It dates to c1850 I believe. The box is in superb condition. There is no damage to the porcelain and the image is in wonderful condition. The bronze is all in excellent condition. There is a mark ... moreon the bottom which I cannot make out. Who could have created a piece this lovely? The Italians? The French? You are bidding on a charming antique(no later than 1850-1899) round porcelain trinket"box" with hinged lid. The bowl is in a'gadron'style of green glass with golden puffed ribs. Its hinged lid. Also of green glass, has raised designs punched in gold that create the frame for an enchanting painting.A cherub playing two flutes while reading sheets of music. Translucent porcelain inset is numbered and the floor of the bowl has either numbers or initials in gold- impossible to capture on photograph. A beautiful and rare find. Height is 1.5 inches. Circumference is 5 inches at widest point. Just exquisite!

Vintage Large Cherub Trinket Box Jamar-Mallory Studio
Used.does have 2 small chips on inside of rim. This piece has no other flaws that I have been able to detect. Absolutely beautiful. Three Cherubs adorn the top of this piece and it has a deeper and raised back to the box. It has a blue glaze over the ivory glaze. It is marked on the bottom and on the inside of the top around the rim. I believe this piece to be rare because I have not been able to find an identical piece when researching the value. I believe this starting bid to be very reasonable based on what I know of the work of this vintage piece.
